Arkansas is one red state that does not put up with their BS,When they tried to show up to picket Army Spc. Clayton D. McGarrah's funeral they were met at the Boone co line by a bunch of angry Ark Troopers,they did not enter Boone,the one that tried got jailed.

I seriously doubt much of anyone, regardless of politics, agrees with their hate. A friend who had taken part in the counter demonstration to the WBC's in Spokane told me how the Phelp's were vastly outnumbered by everyone from veterans to drag queens. In comparison, the WBCers looked few and pathetic.

To give them their due, no matter how annoying and vile these hateful wretches are, they are ultimately peaceful in delivering their message. They have never crossed over into violence.

^^^That they may be,but if they picketed one of my loved one's funerals I'd choke the first one I could get a hold of,I'm not joking either.Jail tome would be worth it.

The point is, they constantly try to provoke violence against themselves, so they believe they'll appear as martyrs on the News. The fact that no one ever took the bait really must be maddening to the WBCers.

I'd be happy to make a martyr out of one of them.I was raised that you show respect for the dead,you don't even walk over a grave.Ever get a weird shiver?I was always told"That"s someone walking on your grave."And "Don't speak ill of the dead."People here still sit with the dead before the funeral.You can kick a Westie's a** here,and I'll guarantee you will get away with it.

This is why the only two solutions that will actually work with the WBC are to either ignore them or just drop a bomb on their compound when they're all together. (One solution seems far easier to accomplish than the other.)

The problem is, I believe that they are largely mistaken in that view. A lot of people will simply think that it's their own fault.
