Well, if Trump Chromosone Care is invented, Obama Care dies and all who have lived, breathed and fled with it.

We have sucky health care.

Our infrastructure is really pretty good. With some faults----like everywhere has faults.

In some places, it suffers from lack of maintenance.

But to call it "collapsing" would be hyperbole.

Quality of health care isn't really the issue. Cost is. There's plenty of reasons for that.

I married a Canadian who is currently living in the US with me. She is naturally deeply attached to her birthright, "free" healthcare, and laments not having it here. However, even she admits the care she receives through her employer's plan is very good.

She got sick in Canada, she had to wait in the emergency room 6+ hours to get looked at. She gets sick here, she gets her own room and gets seen in under an hour.

Sure, you pay more for that. It just depends on what your priorities are. I'd rather pay more for timely care when I decide to use it.

Yeah much better to have a collapsing infrastructure and no health care.

But how's your military? Are all 15 of your soldiers, sailors, and airmen keeping warm this winter?

The soldiers that we have are pretty impressive. However our armaments are inferior. We're not an aggressive nation and prefer to work things out diplomatically.
If the States broke down into civil discord I imagine some Americans would head north to cross the border. We could be overwhelmed as I don't see how we could defend the border.

'Fleeing' to Canada? Gee, I didn't know Trump was THAT bad!

Canada is able to afford what in the States are considered only for those who are rich (you know, like basic health services that everyone else on Planet Earth takes for granted as a basic human right) because they DON'T squander trillions on dodgy weapons systems (you know, like that piece of garbage called the F-35 fighter, or the F-22 that melts in the rain), and the primary reason why they can afford to place defence spending so far down the priority ladder, is because they don't go around the world like some demented schoolyard bully, trying to enforce what they consider to be "democracy", and thus making enemies of the people of every continent on Earth (with the possible exception of Antarctica), whilst trying to justify their despicable behaviour by proclaiming that they are allowed to carry on like gangsters because they are "exceptional".

Raptor, why do you have a picture of a terrorist as your 'avatar'?

With that I agree. :D

I must have missed that part of the constitution.

Jealous?

WOW!
You have no idea how proud that makes me feel as an American.

It isn't in your constitution, and you already knew that, but that's beside the point. A human right isn't defined by what you may, or may not, happen to find within the constitution of a particular human tribe (in this case, the tribe called "The United States of America").

Er... no. The Sukhoi and MiG derivatives would blast those pieces of junk out of the sky in no time. Even the Indians make better aircraft.

Well, there really isn't much to be "proud" of, because your country doesn't have much to offer the world apart from war, death, instability, chaos, poverty, exploitation, and crappy Hollywood movies. And junk food. And rampant consumerism. And private prisons that practice an updated version of slavery. And police who murder black people. And... well, you get the picture. I suppose you have Michael Moore and his documentaries, so that's something positive.

Services and products are not human rights. To adopt that philosophy is to put ourselves on a slippery slope.

That's a topic in itself but neither aircraft are as bad as they're made out to be.

The rest of the world's people sure seem to do a respectable job of mimicking us.
I'm seeing more jealousy here but that's hardly surprise.

Give that man a cigar!
Now go report it, claiming it sets off "triggers".

Now then, didn't George Bush Jnr outlaw the real IRA in the US? froze their assets? called them child killers?

Really? How (and more importantly, why) do "the rest of the world's people" mimic United Statesians? I just don't see it. As for being "jealous" - come on, you're not serious are you? This is the second time you have hurled that particular accusation against me, but where is the evidence for it?
