But seriously, just how educated are they? From what I've seen of Trump supporters, few of them watch the real news, which they accuse of being fake, have zero interest in arguments from the other side of the aisle, and simply have no interest in reading - not anything factual, or fictional. These are people whose education tends to be more geared to business than the liberal arts, and so have little interest or understanding of a wider world view, and almost utterly without culture.

But still it did seem like there was something seriously wrong with her. The head spasms, tremors, difficulty walking, collapsing etc.

So it's fine to speculate on gossip re: Hillary but god forbid anyone publish negative Trump stories without getting a serving of "fake news"

That's my point, it's an indictment on university education


I'm not so ready to damn the university system yet. Rather, you have over half of conservatives saying that too much education is a bad thing, and you have Republican governors cutting federal aid to college students studying the liberal arts while only financially supporting business and related courses. I'd more likely blame the anti-intellectual tendencies that has been alive for so long in American culture.

Lincoln had had Morphan's Syndrome (spelling), FDR had been wheel chair bound from Polio, and JFK had Addison's. None of these conditions had stopped any of these men from being great Presidents. Even if Clinton had something causing tremors, so what?

I can easily answer that question with a question: what if Trump's erratic behavior is due to mental instability, or even the onset of dementia? Should we be allowing a potentially mentally ill man wield power in the world's sole super power?
