More globalist, neocon propaganda. They claim to love the constitution and the (degenerate) republic it stands for, but they are fine with continuing an illegal war in Syria that is only a proxy war against Russia.

This conflict would be over by now, if we'd stayed out. Assad could have finished the job and ended the jihadi rebellion.

Why is our republic "degenerate?"

The vast majority of republics are degenerate. They, like the US, are based in "Enlightenment" values.

He's actually one of the wealthiest men in the world. He can't be that sad.

Robin Williams was wealthy too and super depressed.
Money downs bring happiness

Williams had had a long history of depression which he had probably inherited from his mother, who also had been clinically depressed.
I have never heard of Putin unhappy.

Would you epexct a world leader to show weakness?
Could you imagine being him? Knowing people are actively plotting to kill you every single day, not trusting anyone.
All leaders age rapidly, do you think they aging from happiness? Whether you like it or not he’s just another human who feels sadness, stress , pain. He’s not a good man but you paint him as non human. Monsters are just other humans

Vladimir Putin is a former KGB chief and operative. He doesn't have a soul.

That sounds like a stressful job. I couldn't even make it through the KGB's basic training.

Gotta be tough and evil for the job.

Was the KGB really any worse than the CIA or similar? You know I can list documented atrocities committed by US government agencies. The usual response to that is, that was a long time ago. But as well the KGB was a long time ago.

The fact that they were working to promote a totalitarian regime alone makes them worse. Putin's go to disinformation tactic is moral equivalency. It is a lie.

I miss the good old days where it was conservatives who defended the F.B.I. and C.I.A. from attacks from the left and it was conservatives who called Russia the evil empire. :(

The Soviet Union was very different from the current Russian Federation. The former was communist and contained multiple nations - Ukraine, Belarus, etc.

Granted, by rights, Ukraine belongs to Russia. The very first Russian state (or precursor state) was the Kievan Rus.

EDIT: inb4 anyone calls me a "Putin puppet," I'm a Tsarist, so I don't think he'd like me very much.

But of course.. they've bought plenty of expensive condos in his towers, he's laundered plenty of money for them.. and together they'll make even more money.

This has nothing to do with increasing international trade for the benefit of citizens in either country & everything to do with personal bank accounts growing. Follow the money.

In both cases, the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation are expansionary states.
