Would you like to see all Trump voters and supporters put in jail?

No comrade...I would like to see them attend re-education camps

Obama thinks a bolt action rifle is a machine gun.
Many others too. Maybe politicians are just all stupid.

That also sounds quite Orwellian.

Forced scare tactics eh? Sadly all this stuff you're coming up with ie putting people in camps and forcing them, is what it seems liberalism is really all about for those who haven't been duped by it. What are you going to say next? Resistance is futile you will be assimilated? This is why people voted for Trump.

Well, it's been working well for the last three years, hasn't it? Oh, wait...

Actually just the though of attending an education might be enough to scare the Trumpites straight!

frankly the trumpioids are not worth all that effort, smarter folks than me need to figure out a way to work around them, to make them irrelevant.

Ah yes the anti-trumpites are so superior to them.

Trump frequently responds to interview question with word salad. But yes, maybe we can give him a pass on this one.

When I was in gradeschool in the Mid Sixties the Pope made a reform: decreed that it was now alright for Catholics to eat meat on Fridays. They no longer needed to substitute seafood, or whatever on that day of the week.

It was big global news. Reporters would ask fisherman if they were worried that the new edict would hurt their livelihood.

One fisherman angrily responded that "fish can stand on their own two feet! Without the crutches of any religion!"

Mom and I laughed our asses off so hard that I still remember it even now.

So if a fisherman can use the word "fish" as shorthand for "the whole fishing industry" then I suppose the POTUS can use the phrase "the moon is part of Mars" as short hand for "any manned moon landing would have to be part of a larger and longer range project for landing a man on Mars". But if Trump had meant it that it way it still would have been nice if he could have actually SAID it that way. He is the POTUS, and not some speech impaired autistic child after all.

Was he saying moon is part of Mars? Of that the moon is part of of the much bigger things?
It might surprise some of you but most people aren’t grammar experts. Trump isn’t a politician. He’s an average joe, he isn’t a grammar nazi. I make such slip ups . So I hate to see others mocked for such slips, reminds me of my bullies.
I relate to trump in that I also such slip ups, say things I didn’t meant to say etc.
Attest he’s not enacting policies based on lies like Obama

For all of the money we are spending, NASA should NOT be talking about going to the Moon - We did that 50 years ago. They should be focused on the much bigger things we are doing, including Mars (of which the Moon is a part), Defense and Science!

Alls fair in love and war or so the saying goes unless it seems you are a Trump Supporter then you are apparently fair game .

Let me remind all of you of the rules listed in the PPR sub forum

Quote:
While it is acceptable to attack and debate beliefs (political, religious etc) it is not acceptable to make generalised attacks on the adherents of those beliefs. It is acceptable to say that Republicanism, Liberalism, Christianity, Islam are stupid but not acceptable to make generalised attacks saying that Republicans, Liberals, Christians or Muslims are morons. You could say that some of these people are stupid because of (reason) but not make generalised attacks on groups of people. Similarly you could not say "Christians are morons" or "Muslims are terrorists" or "People on welfare are bums". Confine your attacks to the beliefs and politics, not the people holding them. The one exception to this is public figures themselves – by the very nature of their roles they are personally open to criticism

Using neologisms like Trumpites or Trumpoids doesn't distance you from the rules. 8)

You oughta redo this post to make it more direct and less confusing.

First off: the expression "all is fair in love and war" means "you can do what ever you want in courtship, or in war, because there are (supposedly) no rules in those two realms". The exact opposite of what you seem to think that it means. Ergo if Trump supporters are fair game then they would NOT be an exception to that ( because if "all is fair" then everyone would be fair game regardless of their support of Trump).

Apparently what you MEANT was "despite the old saying...all is NOT fair. There are rules on WP. And one of the rules is you cant attack groups of people. And that includes Trump supporters". Something like that.

Pope Paul VI, in what was the Second Vatican Council, decreed that people did not have to eat fish on Fridays any more.
