Trump openly declared his distrust of muslims when he tried to enact his ban.

But he has done a 180 degree turn after visiting Saudi Arabia. The Saudis get a free pass as they did after 9-11

It's good to have oil...

Same reason China is allowed to lock up 1 million Uighers in concentration camps....trade....money

Yeah, don't even get me started on that...

FBI hunt for missing Saudi servicemen as it's revealed Pensacola Naval base killer hosted dinner party to watch mass shooting videos and visited New York to see Rockefeller Christmas tree lights turned on just two days before

Saudi military student Mohammed Saeed al-Shamrani, 21, killed three people and injured 12 when he opened fire at Navy Station Pensacola on Friday

Another Saudi student allegedly videotaped the attack, while two others watched from a nearby car

Authorities have now detained 10 Saudi students for questioning, a number revised up from six yesterday evening

However, the FBI is still searching for 'several' other Saudis students who have not been seen since the attack

al-Shamrani hosted a dinner party on Thursday evening with three other Saudi students where they watched videos of mass shootings

He and fellow Saudi students also traveled to NYC in the days before the attack

The shooter posted a brief manifesto saying something along the lines of 'America is evil and supports the torture and killing of .... ?" I can't remember if it was Muslims. I heard it on the news tonight, I paraphrased.

Pensacola Air Base Shooter Screened Mass Shooting Videos at Dinner Party Before Attack: Official
Quote:
A Twitter account with the same name as the shooter, whom The New York Times identified as Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, posted a message shortly before the shooting calling the U.S. a “nation of evil” for supporting Israel, according to SITE intelligence group, which tracks extremist activity. One of the three tweets on the shooter’s page reportedly quoted former al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

Three other students attended the party hosted by Alshamrani, who is a member of Saudi Arabia’s Air Force, the week of the attack, according to the U.S. official who cited a briefing by federal investigators. One of those three attendees filmed the shooting from outside the building, the AP reported. Two other students reportedly watched the shooting from a nearby car.

Ten of Alshamrani’s fellow Saudi students are being held at the base, while others reportedly remained unaccounted for early Saturday afternoon.

U.S. officials are reportedly investigating whether the shooting was an act of terrorism. An official told the Times that Alshamrani did not appear to have any ties to international terror groups and seemed to have self-radicalized.

The Saudi Prince organised a hit on an American Journalist Jamal Kashoggi and now one of his own members of national air force is creating terror cells within the US.

Seem to be the only country that can operate subversively within US soil and not have sanctions applied? pretty sure other nations have had war declared on them for much less...

I guess it's the same old song. If you're gonna commit crimes be sure you have collateral. In this case: oil. Just to be clear, we regular Joes and Janes aren't happy about being killed because of it.

I'm not sure why we would be training anyone from another armed force.

I think I heard something on the news that we were training other countries armed forces because when another country buys planes and such from us, they have to be trained by us.

It sounds like the law makers are going through the current gun laws with a fine tooth comb to close up some loopholes aimed at visitors.

After this incident, I think we should cease training people who hate Israel. It can only come to no good. If people are good and want to earn their citizenship, fine. But don't park them in a base with a gun.

9/11

Yeah I mentioned that in an earlier post. What's interesting is following 9-11 the US secretly airlifted the Bin Laden family at the American taxpayers expense

Well we finally agree on something! however the US and Australia often do joint training exercises with countries who have technically been anti-Western like Indonesia and Pakistan

Yeah. Making a policy of "not giving guns to either individuals, or to nations, because they hate country X" is impossible.

Trump just boasted about making billions for the US by selling arms to the Saudies. So we hafta train Saudi personnel how to use the stuff we are selling them.

Al Queda was originally sponsored by the US (to fight the Soviets in Afganistan), before Bin Laden turned on us. And even after 9-11 Al Queda were still our (presumably mutually accidental and unintentional) allies in trouble spots around the globe. They fought the same enemies Clinton and NATO were dropping bombs on in Kosovo. And the US continues to (presumably unwittingly) fight alongside Al Queda against Assad/Russia/Iran in Syria.

And the Saudies publicly mutually hate Israel, but both countries are under the table allies (on top of both being publicly allied to the US)who share intelligence on their common enemy (Iran and its client states and client factions in the Middle East). But at the same time the Saudi monarchy turns a blind eye to its rich private citizens funding terrorism.

And there is a certain ethnic group who are great allies of the US against the US's enemies (like Assad, ISIS, and Iran), but this group is ALSO hated by our longstanding NATO ally Turkey, and is feared and hated by the Iraqi government we installed to replace Saddam Hussein. That group of course is the Kurds. So we cant make policy based on what your country thinks about the Kurds or about Israel.
