A theory I just heard is that; Someone had a beef with one of the men(which one unknown)and knew where they would be and showed up to kill them. The other two men were killed simply to silence witnesses.Just a theory, but makes sense.

It's Florida, nothing makes sense there man. It's like going into an alternate dimension where up is down, and down is up. Any other location I'd agree with you that's a plausible explanation, but not in Florida, nothing is that cut and dry there.

In the words of Homer Simpson "Florida is America's dong!". :)

(look at a map).

It was bad blood over a sale of a truck that TJ Wiggins felt he was ripped off on.

It was a bag and receipt from Dollar General that led them to the suspects.
They followed the three men to the lake and TJ Wiggins got out of the truck and punched one of the men and accused him of stealing his truck.

Then he shot all three people.

I think his brother and Mary Whitmoore will testify against him and he will get the death penalty.

i saw the sheriff's speech earlier today (youtube had it on the main page) ..
i briefly watched it near the end (didnt' want to hear the gory details)

i
however i don't agree that it is barbaric to do exactly to those people what was done to them (execution)
after a fair trial..

i think that's how he felt too, but he added that "barbaric" bit on the tail end of his remarks i guess because he has to...
protocol.. whatever.. to justify the unjust law..
he made his real view clear..

these people are everywhere.
and in world history... people were like that even more..
i mean..admired for it (or not punished for it) too.
some really horrible things.

the fear of equal harm/ retaliation/punishment is the best deterrent i think.

and even then it happens but letting horrible criminals off easy makes
others of that type think :

'ha, these fools! these softies! so easily manipulated!'

instead of:
'oh these kindly hearts.. oh there IS good in humanity after all.. oh I want to be like that...
oh let me become a better person, and aspire to better things....'

i guess people who studied law (like AprilR) would know the nuances of effective approaches.. this is just my unlettered tirade..

Its interesting how so many psychopaths and sociopaths succeed and become leaders in our society. And then many blow up over minor stuff and so ends their foray into life.

the thing about people with ASPD is that punishment doesn't scare them or deter them in any way, and the only way to get them to stop being bad is to physically incapacitate them.
