Mom and son have close relationship

This just muddies the waters to make it legal *on any level* for family members to have sex. It's wrong and it should not be legal.

20 years prison time is *probably a little extreme* and I doubt that's what anyone will be getting here.
No none said incest should be legal,we just said;They won't get 20 years

Not if she had been grooming her son, then it is not consensual even if he did agree. Abused partners can also agree to abuse, but that also does not make the relationship consensual. Incest is abuse, regardless if the participants think they are consenting. This is not an issue with shades of gray.

I saw one person say basically "I don't get laws against incest, cheating is the problem"...and saw others defending that this was a consensual act and not harming anyone...
