Anyone else sick and tired of being forced to where a mask?

No but I am sick and tired of this being a controversial issues and being political. There is no conspiracy behind it and this is more a of a health thing and doctors saying it. The gov is just doing what the doctors are ordering. There is no conspiracy and the gov isn't trying to control your life and take away your income. They are just doing what doctors are ordering and the reason why the gov is forcing it upon us is because of too many people won't follow the doctor order and precaution. Then COVID goes back up again because of too many places not enforcing the social distance and mask policy.

Yes I am sick and tired of this whole COVID thing and am waiting for the vaccine to come out in waves and for this too all end. But this is not a Gov. thing and not a democrat hoax thing.

I have touch sensitivities from the neck up so yes. But that is not as bad as becoming a "long hauler" or worse. So I grin and bear it. Ok not really the grin part.

When the government issues a health warning that lettuce might have e-coli and tells people not to buy it, nobody stars screaming about how the government is trying to control society and secretly ban vegetables.

When the government issues a health warning that meat might have botulism and tells people not to buy it, nobody stars screaming about how the government is trying to control society and secretly ban steak or force everyone to go vegan.

But the government says "wear a mask", and you'd think people were being militantly dragged into forced labor internment camps, instead of, y'know, having some cloth over their face when they're around others.

Most of the politicians refusing masks are republicans, at least in the U.S., that said though a few government officials not taking it seriously doesn't mean the whole thing is a conspiracy.

Also, I wish they would start fining people here for not wearing masks when they go inside stores/public places. You can cause someone to get sick and die potentially by not wearing one so a fine at the very least should be imposed.

True, though at least with the lettuce and meat if someone decides they really want to eat potentially contaminated food, they will only hurt themselves and not those around them as well.

Their posts in this topic are perfect.
I as well as EVERYONE ELSE IN AMERICA have frustration and resentment with all these rules and societal changes, but our governments, national and local, are trying to save lives.
This is real.
Please do your own research, do not depend on people who are saying/ posting what they want to believe or WISH were true.

I hate wearing masks.

But this is a Public Health issue. Nothing to do with politics.

As a few people have said, viruses don't have political affiliations. They do not discriminate in who they attack.

It seems safe to say that while medical opinions favoring the benefits of wearing a mask to avoid the coronavirus are readily backed up with data from the CDC and various health departments, requests for evidence to contrary opinions is met with either silence, evasion, or ridicule -- or some combination thereof.

Hence, anyone telling me that the coronavirus pandemic is contrived had damned well better be an appropriately-trained and licensed medical practitioner -- preferably one with degrees in epidemiology, respiratory intensive care, and/or virology -- and have a stack of valid data that does not involve the ignorant opinions of tabloid journalists, evangelicals preachers, conspiracy theories, videos from YouTube, or lame-duck presidential Twitter feeds.

Especially then, the opinions of a small minority of quack physicians count for nothing against the accounts and experiences of those unfortunate front-line medical practitioners who have seen first-hand how the coronavirus ravages the body and leaves it unable to support life.

Conspiracy theorists would be better off to remain silent regarding their false claims.

It does prove it's a conspiracy. This virus is China's fault. This virus cam from a lab outside of Wuhan. A lot of people are dying from the Flu every year, But I don't see them doing any lockdowns or rushing to get a vaccine.
