After facing multiple delays, NASA announced a new launch date for Boeing's Starliner crewed mission.The new targeted date for the Starliner launch is June 1 at 12:25 p.m. NASA also said there will be more launch opportunities on June 2, 5, and 6 if needed.

after a 2nd scrub yesterday, boeing/nasa have scheduled a 3rd go at a launch this Wednesday June 5 @ 10:52AM. let's pray that the 3rd time is a charm.

You gotta think, if I were a test pilot , and the thing,I was suppose to. flight in , ? Got scrubbed that many times,

Original Astronaut were mostly ex military flyers. Risk taking was part of the job. Rewards are high for the winners.

I have a book “The Wingmen: The Unlikely, Unusual Friendship Between John Glenn and Ted Williams”. It is a good read.

Finally! I hope Bezos buys them and gives Elon a run for his money. We just might see a city on Mars and colonized floating space habs and post-scarcity space based solar in our lifetimes. Or not. We might blow up Earth before we figure it out or run out of resources and starve to death. Really hard to say. I try and focus on that bright future type idea if I can.

Quite sure the Moon or Mars will be the purvue of The body Corporzte . But possibly USA will learn some great progressive methods to do something there . And perhaps that info will trickle down,And help out those on Earth..? :roll:

I missed the actual launch, but just watched the recording:



(Launch occurs around 1:10:00 in the video)

CNN says they successfully docked with ISS but had a bit of trouble on the way there.

I tried to google Boeing Streamliner because I wanted to know what it is, but the only results I got were Boeing Dreamliner.
