It's called eugenics and its the wave of the future. It's been around for a long time and since hitler made it infamous It's had to masquerade under various other masks and titles usually in the guise of science always promising to improvie humanity's lot by giving up the purist genetics possible at the expense of untold suffering and cruel inhumanity to man. but never fear we are all just animals after all don't you know so it is only just that the fittest survive and the weak are culled from the gene pool after all Darwin was right don't ya know and we should embrace his world view and help evolution along. now go and do us all a favor by having yoruself sterilized for the betetrment of the human race off ya go now! What?!? you don't want to do the right thing? Then we have no choice but to force you to do so we have passed laws for your own good.

This is why I oppose materialism, atheism and the abolition of religion. my beliefs aside The Human race when it sees itself as nothing more than cattle, when it is not assumed that Humans are something special and have value beyond measure and are endowed by inalienable rights form their creator, when it is assumed that it is man himself who will give and revoke rights. it is so easy to spiral into utter darkness.

History repeats itself and the only lessons learned form history is that nobody ever learns from history.

Betzalel, we think & feel so very much alike. Warms the cockles of my heart, it does! BTW, do you think cardiologists ever have to deal with a defective cockle?

I'm not one for long speechs or paragraphs but, this seemingly reminds me of what that murderous tyrant Adolph Hitler had thought about doing during the time of WWII and the rampage of the Nazi's.Anyways, I found such notions to be very disturbing to put it mildly therefore, I'd hope this piece of legistlation does not come to pass..

It's nothing like that. Anyway, the other extreme isn't especially attractive -- rejoicing in dysfunction at the expense of the healthy and complete.

Hitler did more than plan it, he started implementing it. He advocated selective breeding to achieve his view of the perfect superman. Orphanages were searched for the blonde haired, blue-eyed children to be raised in Hitlerjungen schools. Nazi soldiers were considered the best of the best and therefore needed to sow their seed with as many women as possible. '. Of course, we are only talking about breeding here. I guess if they take a little while to pass those termination laws, we can start counteracting it pre-emptively. Aspies, start breeding. Make babays!!. Start a revolution.....of Luhhve. I figure we can outbreed em

But seriously, apocalyptic movies started playing in my head when i read this article. Where better for this kind of stuff to start, but in Oceania?

logically and ethically, when a people hand responsibility for their health to a government (ANY national health plan), those persons also grant authority over their bodies to that government.

When the costs rise, as they will, government health care will decide who shall snuff it.

And they will have been given that right.
