One way or another, I think the US will appropriate that Middle Eastern oil. I can almost guarantee it will happen. But what does this all have to do with the Eid bombing?

No, I think the Americans are doing all that by themselves.

It is a common tactic of the CIA with the help of mossad to create terrible bomb attacks in public centers and blame it on terrorists in order to exert leverage on the governments of those country's by destabilizing society.

Hashberry, everyone thinks he/she is right. Nobody likes to be told they're wrong. Insulting others won't get you anywhere (I need to apply this to myself...lose my temper too easily ><). Everyone will believe everything that's told by their govt or by a news channel without hesitation. Nobody will believe that the source they're trusting is lying to them.

How did the Church react when Galileo said the world is round? What was public opinion in the west when Time magazine named Hitler as "man of the year" in 1937? Propaganda is indeed a very powerful tool.

Notably, all scholars at the time knew the world was round, and Galileo was troubled for advocating Heliocentrism.

Narratives form an integral part of everyone's world view, and they necessarily take liberties with the truth. Galileo and the like are consistently abused figures.

Even after the US govt publically admitted that the Gulf of Tonkin incident was a lie, the majority of Americans remain convinced that North Vietnam attacked the US. That's because the news agencies covered everything up. Most Americans believe that Japan attacked Pearl Harbour for no particular reason. The power of propaganda.

"All truth passes through three stages: First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." - Arthur Schopenhauer

You know, i decided to insult people because i believe that many in the west know well the truth about Iraq but do enjoy pretending to believe the government lie in order to salve their conscience. After all no one likes to admit to being a thief.
