While death threats are almost never justified, that kid's a f*****g liar, IMO.

He was wearing a symbol of racism while smuggly staring down an Indigenous Elder. He knows damned well how he was perceived & why, and the BS news interview and WH support is all just a blowback coverup.

Perhaps you're just not good enough with facial expressions to understand?

The MAGA boy is a little snivelling coward

The MAGA brats outnumbered the native Americans, I doubt very much he would have had the courage to try this if he didn't have his numerous nappy wearing fascists to back him up.

Reminds me of the thousands of white teens back in the 1960s protesting against school integration by intimidating little black school girls

my workmates (who are white Aussies) said Nathan Phillips should have smashed his smug face

Sorry but that and all the comments like it and far worse, over someone standing still while smiling sounds completely bananas to me. It causes me to not take most anything I hear from the left seriously. Not that I ever really did, but the overall reaction to such a minor thing pretty much settles it for sure.

My understanding is the small group of black israelites, tiny group of Native americans and the substantial group of Covington Catholic boys were all there for different reasons and their paths crossed.

Covington MAGA boys were protesting against abortion (March for life) on behalf of their MAGA parents (like good little clones they are). Of course intellectual arguments are kind of boring for teenage boys who thought it would be more fun to engage with a small group black Israelites who were shouting obscenities at "all" passers going by (not aimed at the Covington brats). The Covington boys and their adult minders knew these guys were nutcases but chose to cross the street and approach this group (akin to crossing the road to harrass a drunken homeless person). The n-word was used liberally and the suspicion was the boys used this diversion as an excuse to use racial slurs because they were bored.

Meanwhile Nathan Phillips and a small number of native americans who were chanting in front of the Lincoln memorial saw the Covington boys surround the black Israelites and wanted to intervene as it looked like violence would erupt.

The MAGA teen and his mates thought it would be funny to openly ridicule the Native Americans showing their true colors. BTW why did the adult minders allow these brats to chant "build that wall" when they were supposed to be marching for life???

In the aftermath they do what most teenagers who get caught doing something wrong. They lied through their teeth.

What he did is no where close to the absurd level of response it's received. From it I can take it for granted that most anything I hear about nazis everywhere, russians everywhere, russiagate and the end of the world etc is massive over exaggeration.
