it is a pity that mainly foreigners still seem to be able to see this nation's moral rot these days. we amuuuricans have become blindered by our own non-justified conceit, our own nationalistic hubris.

Well, seeing as how a guy wearing a MAGA hat recently showed up at "Dragqueen Story Time (a monthly event where a dragqueen reads stories to children in a library)" with a gun, I'm going to start avoiding MAGA hat-wearers from now on.

Here on an autism board like in society in general we have a bunch of armchair mind readers. I get it, that face is triggering, I have been bullied by plenty of people with a face like that, many commentators have had the same experience. That is our issue issue not neccessarily Sandmann’s.

I also have had a face like that when I feel confused or threatened and in shutdown mode. The group had every right to feel threatened people had been shouting vile things at them for over an hour when Phillips APPROACHED THEM. In a perfect world they would differentiate between the person approching them, the person next to Phillip’s yelling at them to go back to Europe and Phillip’s. IRL when threatened and when in a new situation the human mind has difficulity making these logical distinctions. The situation was probably new to them. The article posted noted that if you live in New York you know to give wide birth to the Black Isrealites. As a New Yorker and I know to avoid them and anybody ranting and raving in the street for that matter. The teens are from Covington,Ky not New York.

Since everybody else is armchair mind reading I am going do the same. I think Phillip’s knew exactly what he was doing. He is a 64 year old veteran activist. Since at least the 1960s a major tactic of left wing activism is to provoke an overreaction in order to “prove” the other side are a bunch of Nazi’s. The more the overreation is publicized the better for the cause. If people get hurt or killed, reputations ruined for life it is collateral damage, the ends justify the means. Phillips did not approach the Black Israelites did he? The kids wearing Trump gear was presented a golden opportunity that Phillip’s took advantage of.

This tactic keeps on being used because it keeps on working. When back in 1970 the national guard overreacted by massacring students throwing body waste at them and calling them pigs the war was “brought home” and Kent State was important in getting the America government to eventually give up in Vietnam. This time all that was needed was a photo op to get so many supposed adults to think a bunch of kids are next alt right terrorists.

Whatabout the alt right and the old right?.
They have seen this tactic works and copied it.

Sandmann is not the issue.
