If you want to know what white Americans think of native Americans you only have to look at the dead fish eyes and condescending sneer coming from a teenager wearing a MAGA hat by the name of Nicolas Sandmann as he stared down at an old native American elder.

Sandmann was financially rewarded hundreds of thousands of dollars after he and his teenage friends were filmed openly disrespected a native American man in a video that went viral.

This is the type of spirit that underpins the MAGA thinking. When you legitimise this type of thinking then any wonder you can't culturally appropriate native attire (and throw in horns) in order to denigrate/ridicule.

My question/comment was specifically referring to a white/Caucasian protester who apparently presented himself as a ‘shaman’ by wearing a pseudo Native American Buffalo skin hat, and identities himself with the Qanon group.
He lives with his mother,
Committed a felony by breaking in to the Capitol, went on a hunger because he didn’t get the food he demanded, s
And goes by 3 different names.
How does he identify with Native Americans?
Why is it Okay for him to do so?
If I were a Native American I would be furious.

Actually, one of the things (among many) that bother me is that images of him in full fantasy gear/costume have been broadcast around the world and will live on the Internet forever.
Visually, there is a blatant reference to Native American culture.
Someone, somewhere, will think he is real.
Having the truth available a month after this mob criminal action does not guarantee that that truth is going to change initial international impressions.
In addition, did his mother not have any concerns regarding his ideas and fantasies?
Did she even TRY to get him into therapy?

Jenny Cudd, an arrested Capitol Rioter, is being given time off from jail to take a lovely pre-scheduled vacation trip to sunny Mexico.
She was only charged with 2 misdemeanors, but has described her actions, on Facebook, as more violent, sounding more like felonies to me.
She bragged on Facebook about participating in breaking down Pelosi’s door.
She also bragged about the whole mob/riot/attack, foul-mouthed, and that she ‘...would do it again !’
And she gets to take a sunshine-and-tequila beer vacation.
She is considered ‘not a flight risk’ and ‘not a danger to the public’
What if Pelosi had been in that office?
