Suffice it to say I had higher hopes for him.

I guess it's not fair to be idealistic, though.

He's probably got my vote, as the smallest of this batch of weevils.

Still would like to find somewhere else to buy flour, though.

That could have been any of us in WP, had we been born in the wrong time and place. That fifty thousand barely cuts the pain and suffering those victims of eugenics had gone through.

As a general rule I tend not to Like "And I think we all know" statements, for this very reason.

I'd like to see him try, pious idiocy is no match for a set of steel boots and brass knuckles.

even though they were hanged they were indeed burned [see urban slang] in the slang sense that they were prematurely rendered dead by the impious hands of madmen/sociopaths. as for hanged versus hung, maybe some of these witches were really effeminate men? who could really say they knew? one would have to jump into the WABAC machine and go back there to surreptitiously peek under some hems to see for sure. that may be considered as "seeing the big picture." :idea: :wink:

My Dad had told me about a right wing nut he had once had the misfortune to work with, who adamantly believed in capital punishment. While this guy was raving, one of my Dad's friends decided to have himself a little fun. It went something like this-

My Dad's friend: "And so you think women ought to be hung?"
Surrounding co-workers snicker.
Right wing nut: "Yes!"
Surrounding co workers continue to snicker.
My Dad's friend: "Are you sure?"
Right wing nut: "Yes!" Unsure why co workers around him continue to snicker.

Some days I wish I was American. I'd LOVE to debate with Santorum and tear him down to snivelling wreck of a man.

I know I already posted in this thread, but I am now thoroughly ticked off with this walking waste of resources.
