In his speech to the Iraqis, Secretary General of AMSI : The occupation will stay here not for more than a few days.
Friday, 13 April 2007
"The occupation will not stay here for more than a few days. Withstand, be patient.." told His Eminence Sheikh Hareth al-Dhari in the speech in which he addressed to the Iraqi people through Radio Channel (Umm al-Qura) belong to the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) on the fourth anniversary of the Anglo-American occupation of Iraq.
"Indeed the night of the occupation ended. So, you should be patient and persistent adherence to the land. It is duty for you to be brothers and show tolerance." told Sheikh al-Dhari.
Secretary General of AMSI told to the Iraqis not to agree with the occupation agents and the occupation itself which wants to disseminate division among them in the name of sectarian, in the name of Shiism or in the name of others…
The following is the text of the speech:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Most Merciful
All praise is for Allah (swt). Peace and prayer be upon our Prophet Muhammad, His family, His companions and his followers,
Dear Benevolent Iraqi People!
Dear Afflicted Iraqi People!
Today is the fourth anniversary of the occupation of our country by the global arrogant forces led by the United States of America.
This oppressor, unjust and aggressor state invaded our country under false pretexts and lie pretexts which they have already confessed.
They came under the name of democracy, liberalization and in the name of prosperity, in the name of happiness, and other terms that do not have any sense. We know the name and the name of democracy. They brought us destruction, sabotage, murder and bloodshed.
Indeed, this country does not entrust to the people who do not fear of Allah (swt) and do not take care of their people.
Dear Free Iraqis!
Indeed the night of the occupation ended. So, you should be patient and persistent adherence to the land. It is duty for you to be brothers and tolerant each other. Do not agree with the workers of occupation and the occupation itself which wants to separate you from each other on behalf of sectarianism, Shiism or others. Do not give any opportunity to them for using.
O our citizens from northern Iraq to the south, from east to the west!
Work together and cooperate for the expulsion of the occupation which is your first enemy.
Your enemy imposed sedition as using the names of Shia or Sunni, Kurd or Arab or others.
You should not give them an opportunity…
It is your first enemy. It uses the sedition among you in the name of Shia or Sunni, Arab or Kurds or others. Over the past four years the occupation is playing on this sedition in a way of known differences. They will not benefit from this way insaallah but at the end they will be devastated and lost.
They will be out of our country.
Unrepentant departure…
Shameful departure with the help of Allah Almighty.
Our esteem nation!
We advice you tolerance, reconciliation and not to hate from each other, such things will just serve to the occupation. You should be steadfastness and patience. The occupation will remain, insaallah, only a few days…
Withstand, endure and do not give them opportunity..
Allah (swt) always remunerates you.
Allah (swt) always blesses your efforts.
Allah (swt) compensates for your losses.
Dear loved Iraqis!
O sons of our nation!
Raise our heads between the peoples of the world and among the Arab and Islamic nation...
Tell your children that the pure blood shed on the ground of Iraq will liberate you, will restore smile, will restore the unity and restore Iraq insaallah.
Iraq…
Free Iraq… Strong Iraq which we are proud of and will live under its shadow soon insaallah.
United Iraq..
May peace and Allah (swt)’s mercy and blessings be upon you…

IR CUTS THE SUPPLY LINES...
Hungry soldiers
told to buy pizza
By Campbell Gunn
BritisH soldiers in Iraq were told to buy pizzas — because the Army had no food for them.
The shocking revelation was made in an e-mail home from a squaddie in Basra.
Now his complaint has been taken up by his MP, SNP leader Alex Salmond, who accuses the Government of complacency and failing in its duty of care.
The soldier’s e-mail claimed that when he and his colleagues found there was no food available they were told to go out and buy pizzas and claim back the cost.
“Now we have been told we are getting no claims,” he went on, “so basically the Army are saying we need to fend for ourselves.
“We miss quite a lot of meals because we are out on patrol.”
The soldier also complains about the state of their equipment.
“When we came out, nearly everyone in the company got sore feet from the poor quality Army boots.
Feet in tatters
“We were told that to get a new, better pair we would have to get a medical note.
“Some of the boys are having to walk about with their feet in tatters and others have had to splash out more than $200 on new ones.
“I was lucky, and managed to swap mine with another guy, but they are still poor quality.”
Another of Mr Salmond’s constituents serving in Iraq had to be sent a thermal scarf, gloves, socks and underwear by his parents to keep him warm on night patrol as none had been supplied.
The soldier’s mother explained, “He complained about the state his feet were in because of the boots he was given to wear. When he got a leave home, he bought a pair of black trainers for when he went back, as he couldn’t afford decent boots.
“We didn’t mind sending food and clothing out, as we knew he needed them, but we did object to having to pay for each parcel sent.”
MPs across the country have had complaints about faulty boots, body armour and other gear. Yet a Parliamentary Answer to a question by Alex Salmond claims only four complaints have been made about boots since the start of the war.
Defect reports
Defence Under Secretary Derek Twigg said since March 2003 the Ministry of Defence had logged all formal defect reports.
“There have been four reports for boots, and one for a waistcoat for Operation Telic, in Iraq,” he said. “There have been three defect reports for body armour covers and one for a sleeping bag in Afghanistan. All defect reports were resolved.”
Mr Salmond says the Government is in complete denial and clearly failing in its duty of care towards the service personnel they put in the firing line.
“This answer from the minister shows total complacency and is completely at variance with the experience of the soldiers on the ground,” he said. “I have had constituency correspondence from anxious parents about the lack of proper support and equipment.
“It is simply not credible for the Government to claim there have only been four complaints about boots. These assertions are outrageous.”
A spokesman for the MoD said last night, “The quality and versatility of the equipment we issue to our troops is higher than it has ever been. The success of our forces in Iraq and Afghanistan continues to show our Armed Forces are not only among the best in the world, but are also among the best equipped.
“Food to the frontline is a top priority and we have a world class logistical service as a result.”
Ps Incidentaly, Iraqi Pizza made with wheat base, tomatos, lamb, onion, spices etc is really quite delicious and sure beats Pizza hut. Very cheap too. Something tells me however that if the British send an armoured personel carrier to collect the order then they would be blown up before they can enjoy so i think perhaps it is the NAFFI Pizza Hut franchise for them

I have a two theories:
1) The IR was trying to keep unclean food out of Iraq.
2) The IR was trying to make money so they bought up all the pizza franchise in Basra.
Then they blocked the British normal food began selling the troops pizza and used the money to buy more weapons from Iran.

.
Good point. More importantly however, food may attract vermin.

This thread of anti-American, anti-British propaganda is disturbing, disgusting, shameful and nauseating. If you are an American or a Briton, may you be ashamed for your sentiments against your own country and desires to see your own country fail and fall.
The last news I heard out of Iraq was that the troop surge was working. Fourteen of the 18 tribal leaders in Anbar Province have turned against al-Qaeda. As a result, thousands of Sunni recruits are turning up at police stations. For the first time, former insurgent strongholds such as Ramadi have a Sunni police force fighting essentially on the side of the US-led coalition. Retired Gen. Barry McCaffrey (a major critic of the Bush war policy) reports that in Anbar, al-Qaeda is facing "a real and growing groundswell of Sunni tribal opposition." Regarding western Iraq, Gen. James T. Conway, commandant of the Marine Corps, has said, "I think, in that area, we have turned the corner." The situation in Baghdad is more mixed, but "children have come out to play again... Shoppers are back in markets" even on the notorious Haifa Street, previously known as "sniper alley."
And that's with only half the troop surge deployed.
Personally, I pray the Iraqi government stands up and takes over security of the country. The sooner they do that, the sooner we can go home.

Why should i support the genocide your countrys are performing. You cannot support murder and rape and theft even though it is some of your countrymen doing it. Your country invaded a peacefull sovereign nation in an illegal act of premeditated war. Even Kofi Annan and the top weapons inspector have said it was illegal.
Iraqis have a right under the Geneva conventions to repel your invasion forces which we can see they are very capably doing. I realise that the USA does not adhere to the Geneva conventions but that is not our concern.
My dear fellow, most Iraqis including myself do not support Al Qaida and we are convinced that it is a CIA trojan horse. The genuine Iraqi resistance groups such as IAI, al Rashdeen army, Muhamads army etc which account for 95 pc of the 800 attacks per week of which over 80 pc targets USA troops and not as the press suggests civilians. The attacks on civilians are carried out by al Qaida/CIA and USA/UK/israeli forces. So yes the genuine resistance groups which are themselves woven into the very intricate fabric of Iraqi society and which includes the tribes are indeed fighting al Qaida.

My thought is it was a bad idea to go into Iraq. I'm 100% in support of the US and its friends in the conflict but I think we need to get out of that place sooner than later.
The last news I heard out of Iraq was that the troop surge was working.
The USA death toll over the past 15 days is so far the highest kill rate ever standing at 4.13 p day or 54 plus 8 British. Wounded and not returned to action stands so far this month at 428. Wounded and returned is several times this figure.
As for your hoping the Iraqi puppet government will secure the place well they have as you should know just been bombed right within their parliament for the first time ever.

Iraq, a peaceful nation? I suppose that's why Saddam gassed the Kurds, because he was peaceful. Invaded Iran, because he was peaceful. Invaded Kuwait, because he was peaceful. And you cannot possibly tell me that Saddam and his henchmen did not murder and rape tens if not hundreds of thousands of peaceful Iraqi citizens - not with the mass graves staring you in the face.
Believe what you will. We came there to remove Saddam, and pledged to stay until the country was stable again. As we have always done, as soon as the country has stability, we will leave.
I have nothing further to say. Other than that the hijacking of this forum to be used as a propaganda outlet sincerely offends me.

The only known data on that is CIA data from 1988 and the CIA stated that it was Cianide gas and therefore Iran and not Iraq that gassed the Kurds. The CIA analyst who qrote that report stands by his asertions to this day.
You are an idiot and i am not going to waste my time on you. You dont have a clue why and what invasions.
What about the 150 invasions that the USA has carried out over the past 50 years.

You will indeed leave of that there can be no doubt. It will not be in a manner of your choosing however. You will be routed in disgrace with a broken and useless army. Equipment destroyed and coroded. Men slaughtered and limbless and very much traumatised. Your economy is now going down the plughole to oblivion. You are regarded the world over as imbeciles and monsters.
It will be indeed a long time before you care to take on a country one tenth your size again. I should stick with Grenada - population 236,982 in operation Fury, lol who can not feel the fury of 300 million attackin 300 thousand thats like 1000/1 hahaha operation Fury indeed. Then another of amerikkkas training exersises in the runnup to Ayrack was Panama, population 3 million.
So we can see here the USA doing its training after having its psyche and army destroyed by Vietnam another small country. Thus the USA has stepped up the anti from 1000/1 on to 100/1 then on to allmost 10/1. Thanks to IR they will be back to bullying countrys one thousandth its size.

"We do not want to kill the Sunni people nor displace the innocent Shia, and what the Al-Qaida organization is doing is contradictory to Islam," said Abu Marwan, a religious leader of the Mujaheddin Army. "We will strike whoever violates the boundaries of God, whether Al-Qaida or the Americans."

150 invasions? In only 50 years? That figures out to an invasion of a new country every 4 months! My, us Americans must be busy little beavers!
What ridiculous nonsense. Josef Goebbels couldn't spin it any better. You're the second coming of Baghdad Bob. (Actually, I miss him... at least he was funny.)
The gassing of the Kurds is well-documented, and I noticed you didn't mention any of the other atrocities carried out by your so-called "peaceful" nation. Anyone who would defend the murderous tyrant Saddam, I have no time for. And I would hope nobody else in this forum would, either.
If we leave and your country falls into chaos, then you will deserve whatever despot rises in Saddam's place. May he then rise! And may our ever-compassionate American ears then fall deaf to your pleas for help, for you'll have shown yourselves an ungrateful lot that deserves none.
Oh, and thanks for the ad hominem attack. Obviously you can't hold a civil debate, I don't know why others are bothering to listen to you.
