And that's surprising?

Iraq was a free country prior to the Gulf War. It was still relatively free prior to the Surge, too. The United States has crushed democracy in many Middle Eastern and African countries. This Fourth of July let us remember the true price of American freedom... is destroying everyone else's.

Hey now, being called an Injun, fa***t or some other scary word by a mean racist, cuts into those feelz deeply.

Just not as deeply as that Islamic sanctioned scimitar for saying mean things against Allah.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

O god, I'm dying of laughter over here.

Sorry, I'm not even going to bother with a factual reply. It's like someone proclaiming Nazi Germany was free, or the USSR. The absurdity of such should be self-evident for everyone but the extremist fringe.

I don't even know how to respond to this

In what way was Iraq ever a free country?

You know, when it was secular, and each secluded area attempted to kill the other in the attempt to gain power (which culminated in the Sunni leadership we all know and love).

(This is totally neglecting what the West calls freedom and equality. That's never been there.)

Why does Texas need to change? I live here and I am happy with it.

Well, it tells you all you need to know regarding where he previously was.

Texas is the bastion of egalitarianism compared to the Muslim world (something people seem to overlook).

Yeah, but he and his parents had a choice of plenty of other states to live in, I'm sure.

I'm glad you're happy. Texas just isn't my cup of tea.
