To God sin is the same for all of Us. We may not truly think so but the rules are the same for Us all. So sin in the end is up to God to know what sin is in the end.

I think Pat Robertson is a corrupt, raving lunatic. This is what The Daily Show With Jon Stewart had to say on the topic:

'Pat Robertson said that God gave Prime Minister Ariel Sharon a stroke as punishment for dividing Israel. Does that mean that when Pat Robertson had prostate cancer a few years ago, God was punishing Robertson for being a pain in the a--?'

It was not God that gave Him a stroke. Pat Robertson is very wrong for what He thinks. Sharon stroke just happen to happen in the end.

Senility is not funny, nor is it selective against lawyers. He may have been a preeminant scholar at some point, but it's very clear that his elevator is no longer going all the way to the top. (Take that as a pun, if you will)

And SBsquared, I have newfound respect for you and bow down to you but there's no emoticon for that so you'll just have to imagine it.

Religion could well be the end of us all. :-)

As a Christian myself, I don't think that God would punish somebody like that for giving some of Israel to the Palestinians. I think that God uses people for a purpose, and that Pat Robertson is just another telepreacher or whatever they call them, and he's trying to get attention and money. What if it was God's will for the Palestinians to have part of Israel? What if Sharon's stroke was a part of His plan for Sharon's life? Take Paul the apostle for example: he went to prison because he suffered for his faith, not because of punishment by God; it was God's will in the first place. The way that I see it, things happen that we don't fully understand at first that seem bad to start out. Then later, it was the best thing for us and we thank God in the end of that moment because he let something happen to us, even if we didn't want it. Besides, many experts believe that the end times are already here, and I wouldn't doubt that God is preparing for another sign of the end times. Anyways, Pat Robertson is dead wrong, and he doesn't do a really good job at being a televangelist (aha; that's the word!).

THANKS ALOT, KEV729!! !
I just peed my pants laughing so hard at your ravings!!

Look, Alex is not our God, he's simply a Webmaster in the End.

It's quite simple. Pat Robertson is just a little, old, cute guy and everyone knows that you can't trust little, old, cute guys; just ask Monica Lewinski!

I am a bina fide, conservative, flaming fundamentalist christian. So, I speak for millions of people when I say, Pat Robertson is dead wrong. We don't know why Sharon had a heart problem nor why I seem to be developing a bladder-control problem! We should pray for his speedy recovery and wish him well. Good-bye for now; I have to go change.-Bland

I am a born-again believer myself, but I believe that Pat Robertson has been detracting from the gospel message by putting his foot in his mouth concerning Hugo Chavez and Ariel Sharon. Any such controversial statements should have been kept to himself. Even though I have problems with Sharon's pullout from the Gaza Strip, I continue to hope and pray for Sharon's recovery.

What problems do You have Israel pulling out of the Gaza Strip. There was only a few thousand Israelis to over a million Palestinians.
What problems do You have Israel pulling out of the Gaza Strip. There was only a few thousand Israelis to over a million Palestinians.
The problem that I have with Israel pulling out of the Gaza Strip is that it sends a wrong message concerning the war on terror. The Israeli pullout will bring Al-Qaeda right to Israel's doorstep. Also, the place will become a terrorist hotbed, which it is already. The terrorists are firing Qassam missiles into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Also, Israel abandoned 75% of its produce industry in the Gaza Strip. I realize that many Israelis feel exhausted about ruling over 1.5 million Palestinians crammed into an area the size of DC. The Israelis offered to build industrial parks on the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel to employ many of these presently unemployed Palestinians--the PA said no to the idea. Israel should not have to pull out of territory acquired in a defensive war. Many of the Gaza Strip Palestinians agree with the President of Iran about Israel. Israel should not be forced to play Russian Roulette with its security and follow the Neville Chamberlain school of fighting terrorism.

Sorry.

the word does not impress me.

it is only words.

flick a friend on the forehead, then apologize.

do it again, then apologize.

and again

and again

and again

sometimes, consistent actions speak louder than words.

This has been an all too consistent mode of action for him. His opinions are damaging and they are fueled by an agenda.
Pat, its time to resign your post.
