Indigenous Peoples' March Washington, DC
I agree. I wouldn't compare MAGA hats with swastikas at all; that's a ridiculous comparison.
Saying this, I feel like people who wear MAGA hats don't really think too much about what Trump has said about many people---including prisoners of war.
It doesn't matter if one doesn't like McCain. But what he said about McCain not being a hero because he was "caught" (he was a prisoner of war in Vietnam) was absolutely ridiculous.

Does anyone KNOW why the boys were wearing MAGA articles? Do they wear them everyday? Did a teacher hand them out? Did a sponsor of some sort? Did the boys have any choice in it?
In the video I posted NBC said Nick Sandmann bought his hat that day from a street vendor , I don't know the answer to your other questions.
Trump is pro life so I can see why they would think it appropriate to wear the hats on a pro life march.
Thanks! I finally caved in yesterday and watched the videos. I missed that. Then again I turned the sound off for some. It’s interesting watching things like this, and SEEING what’s happening.
I wonder why he bought that hat. To support Trumps pro-life stance, because he was cold, because he likes red....?
Do you know how old the boys are, on average? I suspect it’s mentioned somewhere in this thread, but I don’t remember. Also, why were the school boys in the march. I know here in Canada Catholic school kids are bused into Ottawa for rhe March for Life. Its part of the school program, regardless of the students personal beliefs. Also they generally get some time at the big shopping centre downtown In Ontario high school students are required to put in certain amounts of volunteer hours in order to graduate. Attending these marches with the school can count for your volunteer time.
Why does it matter why he was there or why he had the hat?
He and the other kids are well within their rights to attend protests and wear political hats just as left leaning kids are to attend march for life or women’s march.
Schools gave kids day off nation wide to attend anti gun protests but didn’t do so for them to attend pro gun protests.

Then people who wear or wore Obama shirts didn’t and don’t think about the things Obama said.
It’s quite simplle of trump overall represents what you beleive the few things he says that doesn’t won’t matter as it’s him or the other side who overall is against what you beleive.
So I support trump. If I wouldn’t get killed I’d wear a maga hat but then some “liberal” might attack and kill me. Or force me to kill them.
Sad we live in a world where people have to live in fear of expressing their beliefs

Thanks.
Apple does odd auto correct where it takes spelled right words and changes them. I wish I could keep the spelling correct but get rid of the assumed what I want to say correction thing.

You have to REALLY like Trump in order to wear one of those MAGA hats.
I wouldn't wear an Obama t-shirt in a million years. I don't like the guy THAT much.

Or just really disloke liberals telling people
What to think and do.
Same reason people run out and buy something when liberals try to ban it

And what law gives them the right to not be criticized for it?

You don't think conservatives do the same thing: try to tell you what to do?
There are liberal Democrats who hunt, and who don't mind guns.

Like what?
Cause it’s liberal saying we can’t have fast food, can’t have soda, can’t have guns, can’t have straws, can’t have bags, can’t burn wood, etc etc.

They don't say that. If you want to indulge in damaging practices, the price should reflect that. Even booze is regulated.

There's probably like 5-10 people in America that think liberals are going to murder them & they're all just as anxious and paranoid as you are. Sly, seriously, there are no "radicalized left," coming to get you. That's just a boogeyman story trump tells to get his base all riled up.

No for supporting trump. Because doing so is deplorable.

So, in your view, everything that's happened here falls under the umbrella of valid criticism?

How many women and POCs have received similar threats just for existing?
Welcome to the world of the internet and social media. Pretending that its only "The Left" that cower behind computer screens and talk trash is dishonest. There's sh_tty people on both sides.

I posted that in the wrong spot. I meant to reply to Wolfman87's reply to AspE regarding criticism.
Although I doubt the threats you're talking about were fueled by MSM.
