This is the information I received in an e-mail this morning. Bernie is trying.

"Tomorrow Bernie is introducing a budget amendment that would prevent Senate Republicans from breaking Donald Trump's campaign promise to make no cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. ...

But,as Bernie has said all along, he can't do it without the rest of us. When we get distracted by tweets and what happened at the Golden Globes we aren't working toward our own best interest. As for "fake news" there are sources outside of network news and Breitbart where you can get information about Congress in their own words. Read their proposals, listen to them talk, call them up and ask questions. Streep and the tweets are distractions from very serious issues that affect people's chance to even live at all.

As for Streep,she has done some real dogs.No way am I watching Rikki and the Flash,it just looks boring.On the other hand some really great films,The Hours,Ironweed,A Cry in the Dark,Bridges of Madison County and my fav,Adaption.

She can speak her mind all she wants ans even whip up a few tears for us for all I care. I find all this whining about Trump to be increasingly amusing. Just the same, it's still goofy and worthy of ridicule.

And libs aren't exactly champions of free speech.

It's not just liberals. Trumps comments on twitter/speeches are wiping off billions of the stock market. Shareholders who are/were trump supporters won't be giggling...

What exactly does this have to do with my post? Also, Trump won like you wanted if you haven't moved past the initial 'yay my candidate won!' stage I'd suspect you're gloating.

My point was that Trump has won because of his actions not in spite of them, if people thought it was unpresidential then he wouldn't of won so he's not going to stop being himself now. People need to accept the new reality, they are the ones that need to get over it.

I think we're all shocked at the actual lack of actual intelligence at the top, you kind of get this idea that they are all powerful and all knowing but people like John McCain are bumbling idiots who are guided by bloodthirsty bravado and cynical opportunism.

Basically peoples need to accept that Trump won for his stupid comments, his insults, his obvious narcissism, his lies, his corruption, his lack of intelligence and some other unsavory things. Guess democracy is dying. :(

Are you suggesting America has a national security state that operates outside of US government jurisdiction? Isn't that a kooky conspiracy theory??

I would suggest Ronald Reagan was made aware of the Iran-contra affair and financial support of right wing death squads in South America as well as funding of the Mujahadeen in fighting the Soviets

I would also suggest George Bush was aware of the WMD ruse

A for killing Presidents we know that belongs in the realm of UFO conspiracies

The CIA doesn't operate as a "rogue state within a state" that's poppycock...If they advise that the Russians were meddling with the US elections then they would have evidence otherwise why would they stick their collective necks on the chopping block?
