Yes, I know you're joking, since you are too smart to believe that immaterial radio waves can transmit a material virus.  This an updated form of the false belief from the 1980s that humans can be infected with computer viruses.  Sadly, there are modern-day Luddites and other fearful and ignorant people who are suspicious of any new technology, and other people who seem to derive sadistic glee from spreading more fear and doubt about that technology.


I think they need to learn critical thinking skills. 8)

The recording saying people need to stay away because of a bomb indicated he didn't want to kill anyone.

It was a very quick way to go.
Not being resuscitated with that method.
Also, he obviously had a grudge with the business he parked the van in front of.


It doesn't really matter if he wanted to or not, he did it in a place that was populated with no guarantee of building being empty of people. Its just a good thing there were only injuries, it could have been much worse.

But yeah lol I don't care if its a quick way to go, I want no part of any such thing...chances are this won't happen anywhere near me but these sort of things do sometimes get copycats so its a bit concerning.

That seems to be an ongoing motive for shooters and bombers. Even if they have some specific other agenda, they've said or written about how everyone will know who they are and they'll be put in the history books.
