several wealthy humans have paid to be able to walk up to an elephant and shoot it. two that i can think of are ted nugent and the guy who owns godaddy.com. real men all.

many of you may have read of my african adventures of many years past. i now help support an elephant sanctuary where orphans are taken.....most after their mothers are shot by poachers. a magical place.

several sanctuaries/parks now have patrols utilizing military members with shoot on sight orders when poachers are caught. i'm hoping they will bring down one of the helicopters some poachers use.

all the ivory taken ends up in china. rhino horn and feet, gorilla parts.....these are scattered throughout s.e. asia, mainly vietnam. not to be outdone where cruelty is involved, the koreans still like to beat dogs to death. you can order black lab right off the menu of hotel dining rooms.

one of the reasons i doubt the existence of 'god' is that the good christians i know tell me 'man was made in god's image'. what a horrible creature this 'god' must be if that is true. i'll pass.

We can only hope the next time Nugent or the Go Daddy guy go to shoot elephants, they'll be trampled to death.

i for one, would not miss those two obnoxious dandies, in fact what i'd do on their graves wouldn't pass for flowers. :x
