I disagree with your premise and I've been laughing when you do things like comment on knowing what I think or attempts at (seeming to) suggest that the problem is largely or entirely because of the left notices it and comments on it, or that somehow this is worse than the normalizing of it that's been occurring on the right. I struggle to find your arguments credible based on the way they appear to be framed.

As long as the right continues to ignore this they're going to continue to turn off minority voters which seems likely result in a negative feedback loop because it will make it harder for the GOP to avoid being associated with white identity politics. Blaming the left will not resolve this.

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, that you understood the very straightforward things I have said, and pretended not to, rather than come to the conclusion that you have a reading comprehension problem. If the latter is the case, there's not much point in conversing with you.

The rest of what you wrote only confirms what I have said. The game that is being played by the left is obvious and you don't want it to be obvious.

The University of North Carolina reached a 2.5 million settlement with the SondOf Confederate Veterans giving them ownership of the Confederate
Statue known as Silent Sam that had been on the UNC comoud before an iconoclastic mob knocked it down in 2018
The SOCV will take possession and ownership of the statue and the two give million with which to build a place for it upkeep etc This settles a lawsuit the SOCV had filed against UNV

The Southern Poverty Law Centre define the sons of the confederacy as a "Neo-Confederate" organisation

They go on to say;Neo-Confederacy also incorporates advocacy of traditional gender roles, is hostile toward democracy, strongly opposes homosexuality and exhibits an understanding of race that favors segregation and suggests white supremacy.

An overall conservative ideology, neo-Confederacy has made inroads into the Republican Party from the political right and overlaps with the views of white nationalists and other more radical extremist groups.

Neo-Confederacy represented a much more unified front in the late 20th century. A concerted effort was made by the sons of Confederacy leaders to cast off the old conception of white supremacy so often tied to the image of the Ku Klux Klan — at that point (and to this day) a constellation of groups with shared symbols and structure often viewed as thoroughly compromised by federal informants — and adopt a more academic veneer.

This would suggest the UNVNC appear to have been duped...

People saw it as service, and sacrifice, and heritage,” the ex-governor continued. “But once he did that, there was no way to overcome it. And the national media came in droves—they wanted to define what happened. They wanted it to make this about racism. They wanted to make it about gun control. They wanted to make it about the death penalty.”

Apparently, according to Haley, the media at the time wanted to make the mass slaying of nine black people—an admittedly targeted racist attack, as laid out in Roof’s manifesto—about race.

While Haley’s insistence that a flag long associated with slavery and sedition was actually just about “heritage” until only recently was immediately met with ridicule and mockery, her remarks to Beck are actually pretty much in line with how she equivocated on the issue when she removed the flag four years ago.

Claiming at the time that many South Carolinians held up the flag as “a way to honor ancestors,” she added that “while an integral part of our past” it “does not represent the future of our great state.”

Nikki Haley busted by Civil War historian after claiming the Confederate flag was once a symbol of ‘heritage’

Levin then begged Haley to not buy into this revisionist history, while reminding her that she did the right thing by ordering the removal of the Confederate flag from the South Carolina capitol in 2015.

I really wish I lived in a different country right now, a country that doesn't give a f**k about the Confederate flag or the American civil war.

I'm tired of the north making us feel like we should be ashamed of ourselves and I'm also tired of the south proving them right.

My dad's ancestors were Polynesians from Hawaii who moved to North Carolina. I'm not defending the Confederate fag, but you make it sound like just because somebody lives in the south and isn't 100% white that they should hate everything about the south.
