Allowed to own guns?
You know, there are probably some people that need an official diagnosis that are reluctant to get one because of this mentality.

It would, in any case, be unlikely to reduce the reaction rate (chemical metaphor).

Where I live in Georgia, guns are as plentiful as blades of grass, and nearly as easy to acquire.

I suppose one could, in theory, disarm the entire population, and have Nazi-esque Homeland Security troops marching through the streets, but as I understand it, a large percentage of the population (autism spectrum or not) would not wish to exist under those conditions.

This sucks another mass murdering aspie for the world to use to judge us.

My husband is already depressed about his life, and I saw this in the news. I told him, don't worry, he's some pissed off frat boy. f**k me running. I saw on BBC wire (Seriously are murdering Aspies a world news item now?), the guy was diagnosed with Aspergers.

He went to bed early.

I got nothing on this mess. The parents have money. You don't tool around in a Beemer with no cash. You gotta be completely twisted side ways to go human hunting, which is what this fool did.

I feel bad for anyone rolling into work after the long Memorial Day weekend. This s**t will be on the Tee Vee for the next three days.

I need some vodka. BLAH!

I find it terribly ironic he's bitching about rich, spoiled sorority girls, who wouldn't spit on him, but the dude's dad worked in Hollywood and has more money than I will ever see.

With all that jack, this guy couldn't have gotten a call girl? His dad works in HOLLYWOOD. This guy could have banged any wannabe actress in a 50 mile radius. FOR FREE.

Seriously, people would blow toothless homeless guy to get an in in the film industry.

But then, this douche is the type who'd probably start murdering call girls and hookers, and start some Ted Bundy like killing spree.

*gawd* need to look at kitty pictures as a brain palette cleanser.....

Even then it's a weak theory. Some of my guns don't even exist on paper. You have to find them all and risk armed conflict with the current owner each time. I'd rather die fighting than live in a world like that.

Someone who would rather die fighting than live in a world where there were no guns permitted is a person who is already a slave. If you are that attached to guns, or anything else, especially a material object, you have no freedom. As matter of fact, if you are that wrapped up in guns or any other material object you dont even know what freedom is.

There's no such thing as a world without guns, you can't uninvent the wheel. I'm more afraid the police then I am crazed killers, you're statistically much more likely to die by a cop.

Wow, if it wasn't hard enough being a person with Aspergers, this is probably gonna make it that much harder. The sad thing is I actually relate to his feelings of rejection, however I've never wanted to kill anyone because of it.

"Permitted"? I live in a word where there is a war on drugs they are so not "permitted", but I can drive two miles north of my house and buy all the meth I want and never see a cop or even worry very much about it. So much for not "permitted".

People with Aspergers (know much about it?) tend to obsess on their hobbies and/or topics of interest. Mine is and always has been guns and I couldn't change that if I wanted to (I have actually tried). Even if they weren't my obsession I'd still have a few because I know what kind of world I live in. And, no; I did not make the world that way I just inherited it. The fact that you let me mentally run you up a tree without me even trying to says a lot about who's not living in freedom.

This incident reminds me of a story of some man in his 30s video-blogging about attempting to meet and date woman and his difficulties in doing so. To express his anger about women finding him unattractive and rejecting him, he walked into a random women's fitness center gunning down innocent women before turning the gun on himself. They never mentioned about him having an Autism spectrum disorder.

I know! And he was such a nice guy, too. A true gent. [/sarcasm.]

Nah, I didnt say anything about his personality, total jackasses can manage to make a friendships, too. It just kind of strengthened the Idea that he may indeed have autism. How else could a guy with a high end car and a rich dad have trouble making friends? He had the monetary resources and was in a good position to be "popular" yet had no Idea of this. There's no doubt that he was twisted, tho. Despite the autism, he had something else in there that made him violent...

Here we again in. Hold on I have Asperger's and I can get laid in my sleep. Looking back though I'd sooner not have, quite a traumatic experience that one. I think the problem with this guy is not that he had Asperger's but that he was a complete and utter tit, well that's Dr Greys diagnosis of him.
