The UN is worthless with veto powers.

Well, from what I've read of this,is that the resolution against America came from U.N. General Assembly, which in itself is toothless and really could not be enforced. However, if this resolution came from the U.N. Security Council that would be a different matter and could be enforced and carried out,yet America happens to be one of many members on the security council and would simply veto it out of existence. The way I see it, is that when it comes to international law many countries have violated laws and in some ways Israel has violated some without every acknowledging such, nor has America pointed out such infractions either. No, I'm not being anti-Semitic simply pointing out many hypocrisies America has been part of.

Not only would I get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US I'd want them off of the North American continent all together. Canada and Mexico would be forbidden from hosting them with the penalty for non-compliance of that ORDER being invasion and annexation.

We would force the hand of the UN to impose sanctions against us just so we could make a show of sh*****g all over those sanctions. We would overtly assist other countries in violating sanctions against them as wel.

Our military would bully and pick fights with UN peacekeeping forces on land, air, and sea and totally annihilate them for fighting back. We'd go even harder on them (if that's even possible....lol ) for being wussies and not fighting back.

If there were ever any terrorists attacks on the new UN headquarters we'd claim responsibility for them even if we had noting to do with it, and taunt them into doing something about it.

Our military would triple in size and openly embrace the same ethos as the Waffen SS.

We would officially and proudly change the name of this country to the United Bullies of America (UBA) and change the 50 stars to 50 brass knuckle clad fists.

We'd drop the bald eagle as our national bird and replace it with the MQ-9 Reaper drone. We'd be using lots and lots of those drones, too.

It is worth noting that the US embassy in London is currently trying to use their diplomatic status not to pay the city's congestion charge - even though City of London land is privately owned & diplomatic immunity only covers host nation costs not private landlord's bills.

Yeah, not surprising. Read the post right above yours, then translate that attitude to the situation you're talking about: "London should be paying us to stay. If they don't like it they can eat my patriot missile." That's the attitude of literally 3 million less than 50% of the voting population in this country, it's what we have to deal with on a daily basis: complete lack of understanding about international relations, and a complete lack of awareness that there's people outside one's own podunk town. Be wary about making deals with the U.S., the politics have been too shaky for the last 30 years to be trusted with long term investments and deals. Administration A can make a deal and 2 years later Administration B takes a completely different course, it's been going on since the Carter to Reagan administration shift and shows no signs of stopping.

The USA freeloads down here too, at the Harewood base which it uses as a gateway freebie to Antartica:

Citizens of New Zealand increasingly question this, given the less than gracious behaviour of the USA in taking this freeloading for granted as if it is their right, while the USA does nothing but send us an insulting choice of "ambassador" who is just another completely unqualified mate of Trumps who seems to expect to be wined and dined on a freebie holiday for the duration.

I despise what that embecile has done to literally destroy an decency within the American psyche unto other citizens within the global diplomatic world

The Mother of All Bombs: the USA is suspected here of covertly using NZ as a base for launching that deadly 2017 attack on another country, despite its freeloader guest status here.

I have a feeling that the new government here may act to limit this abuse of status by the USA. Haley can take all the names she wants, including ours. She might learn something. But then, as she believed in a country that didn't even exist (Bilibo?), she may not be any more educable than her orange director.
