He could write a new book titled “From crackhead to businessman and back again”. I am sure a few of his customers would want one to read right before falling asleep from his infomercials.

Idaho sent MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell a cease-and-desist letter along with $6,558.83 bill.  The state of Idaho is demanding that Mr. Lindell take down false information on his website claiming there was voter fraud in the state.  The secretary of state and attorney general issued Lindell a cease and desist letter demanding the information be removed, and requested $6,558.83 for the state’s costs of disproving his false claims.

UPDATE: MyPillow Guy Mike Lindell's lawyers are refusing to comply with the discovery process for Dominion Voting System’s $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit against Lindell.  Dominion has requested that Lindell, Giuliani and Powell produce documents related to the remarks they issued about Dominion during media interviews, in addition to depositions.  Lindell's lawyers stopped showing up to meetings to figure out a schedule for the case the day after Dominion’s lawyer hit them with a request for documents.

Lindell and MyPillow’s position is that they will refuse to participate in consolidated discovery unless and until they have fully exhausted their appeal of the Court’s denial of their Motions to Dismiss.  Lindell and MyPillow also said they are seriously taking appeals from both orders all the way to the United States Supreme Court.

Kinda sad Lindell went so far off the rails … He could have just been a successful businessman.

He'll take it to the Supreme Court and IF they hear the case he'll lose and have to pay out more than his net worth.

Is there a word for self-cancel culture yet? Seems Mike Pillow is trying his damndest to cancel himself.

I doubt very much the Supreme Court will hear Lindell’s case.

Of all the people who have lied about the 2020 presidential election, no one has fought harder than Mike Lindell.

Lindell has alleged in court that Dominion and Smartmatic formed an illegal enterprise to rig the 2020 election, and that Smartmatic and Dominion are both owned by Chinese nationals and that they colluded with a public relations firm to suppress his free speech and ruin him financially.

Smartmatic has denied the claims and repeatedly pointed out that it played a role in only one county’s election administration in 2020.  But the outlandish nature of the accusations pressed them to take another step: Asking the judge to sanction Lindell and his lawyers before the case is even over.

There is no legal precedent for the claims that are being brought -- someone can throw a lot of spaghetti on the wall, but that doesn’t provide you a factual or a legal predicate for a claim.

Lindell’s lawyers may have run afoul of Rule 11 in the federal rules of civil procedure, which requires attorneys to file only motions that have a basis in fact and law.  While lawyers don’t always have to think they have a slam-dunk case, it is the duty of every lawyer to make sure their cases make sense.

2022-04-05: MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has been served with another defamation suit.

This time, from Eric Coomer, a former Dominion Voting Systems employee whom Lindell once accused of being a traitor to the United States of America.

Lawyers for Coomer, who worked as Dominion's director of product strategy and security, filed a court complaint against Lindell on Monday to kick off a defamation case against the pillow CEO and his online platform Frank Speech. Lindell was served with the lawsuit Tuesday at a mini-rally he hosted in Denver.

Coomer alleged in the complaint that his reputation had been irreparably tarnished by Lindell and Frank Speech. Coomer added that Lindell had posted numerous false statements, defamatory interviews, and other dishonest content maligning him on Frank Speech, along with a sales pitch for products from MyPillow.

The filing added that Coomer received "frequent credible death threats," which Coomer's legal team attributed to "unwarranted distrust" inspired by what the suit called Lindell's lies.

When asked about the lawsuit and the possibility of being sued by more individuals linked to Dominion, Lindell demurred and said people like Coomer were trying to 'cancel' his voice.

Summary: Eric Coomer holds Mike Lindell accountable for his actions, and Mike Lindell responds by saying his own voice is being "cancelled".

I fully expect Lindell to burn himself out, go bankrupt, and die as a lonely and bitter old man.

the big question, is what kind of hate, directed at what people, is driving this man's madness?

I can just see it displayed in the self help section of the bookstore:

"How I pulled myself up by my own bootstraps...and then pulled myself back down again...by my own bootstraps!"

Hmmm, are state governments allowed to make such demands, given the First Amendment?
