The right seems to have trouble separating the hundreds of rioters they see in the news versus the millions that peacefully disagree with Milo's opinions.
Here's the problem; you first. Trump supporters were falsely were maligned by the pretty much the entire left as violent racists because of the actions of an extreme few and I mean few as in you can probably count the number of real incidents with your fingers and not only that, they were cast into the fire of the irredeemables for not disavowing people strongly enough which part & parcel to why Trump won the election.
These double standards are clear as day and it rings so hollow for left wingers to cry the victim now when there is real organized and financed political violence being committed in there name. There aren't mobs of Nazis or KKK members attacking minorities in 2017 but there are mobs of hard leftists/SJWs/communists/anarchists/whatever you want to call them at are literally attacking people and the left should be ashamed of themselves for how their side is conducting themselves. There mainstream media outlets playing with the idea of assassinating Trump or there being a military coup, these same people attack the right for their supposedly violent rhetoric so it really ruins the credibility of their entire argument. NOBODY did this to Obama, people could get fired when people making a stupid joke about him let alone threatening to kill him. We still have people to this day on this board straight up blaming Sarah Palin for Gabby Giffords getting shot by some madmen because her superpac "targeted" for defeat in the midterms. Donald Trump is this great monster because of the 'lewd' comments he's made but then people proceed to say the most terrible possible things they can thing about Donald and every member of his family. It's disgusting!
If this is to be a democracy then you must accept and work thru the legal framework that our government provides to us, there has to be reciprocation and a willingness to compromise on some level if we are to live peacefully with each other. Trump won the election and is the legitimate president of the United States, he is all of our president just as Obama was and there has to be some respect not just for Trump but also his voters. Republicans did work with Obama early in his presidency and didn't play this funny business with confirmations, if you want to see a legitimate protest movement that didn't hurt anybody or vandalize any property then look at the Tea Party and what they did to gain influence in their party. It was not buy physically attacking or attempting to silence their opponents, they got what they wanted by holding THEIR OWN SIDE accountable and primarying the representatives they believes betrayed them. Elections have consequences! The Democrats would be wise to distance themselves as much as possible from these authoritarian tendencies or else they will doom themselves to permanent minority party status, a regional party. It's funny how the script gets flipped but it seems like these people took their extremist rhetoric to heart, our sensationalist traitorous media bears much of the responsibility for the hysteria and have taken an active role in fomenting unrest, this every bit as bad the yellow journalism and McCarthyism we've seen in the past.

Pretty much.
Rioting is exactly what Milo wants. He's seeking attention, makes inciting statements with a smile on his face. Then when people get angry "omg them librels are like so intolerant!"
People on both sides hate him. Just like there are people on both sides that hate Trump.

I read a story about a Milo supporter who appeared to want to get punched, and he got his wish. It was a huge gift for his Twitter profile, much like the Trump tweet was great for Milo. I had never heard of either one before the rioting, myself.
This looks more and more like the Reality TV presidency all the time. As noted elsewhere, my tastes run more towards British Baking than Apprentices.
Gordon Ramsey or Jamie Oliver for president?
Damn. Ramsey. He demands excellence. I can't have Paul?

That's hardly a problem unique to the right.
Also, judging from social media, there's also a large contingent that didn't actually riot but approved of it, often the same people fervently rationalizing punching people they disagree with politically, so you can't really say it's just a few hundred rioters who are the problem.

Funny, I see the same thing when the left lumps moderate conservatives in with the radical right. What's that saying about people that live in glass houses?

According to a fairly comprehensive survey conducted on Trump voters by a US university across the US; 62% of Trump voters could be classified as carrying a racial prejudice based on the way they answered the survey. That indicates a serious national mental health problem given the US is a powerful first world country.
Trump obviously has not been to a university for a while. UCLA and nearly every accredited university in the US has a explicit policy about hate speech and inciting racial hatred on campus grounds. This does not come under free speech.
The hypocritical scumbag Milo Yiannopoulos (himself the son of an immigrant) breached UCLA policy and the protesters were perfectly in their rights to get him chucked off campus. Trump would lose if this ever went to court. It's jsut more huff and puff.
Pronoun laws have at least been flirted with in the US, too.
Massachusetts, if I remember right, has tried to get one passed.
It's nuts!

And what was the survey's criteria for determining racism?

I'd go beyond that and say it's evil.

There needs to be an updated version of Monty Python's Election Night Special (featuring the Sensible Party and the Silly Party) that's based around pronouns instead of proper names.

And it opens a Pandora's box.
How the F do you even enforce a law like that???
Given all the variables, I'm not sure I could comply with that law if I tried.

Give it six months and the left will honestly be convinced that Trump is Satan, if that's not already the case...
