That's beside the point. The point is doing that apparently cost her alot of votes.

It’s against forum rules for one.
You wouldn’t like it if someone said it about democrats, Hilary supporters or Canadians.

Tell it to "Adam Schitt", as your hero calls Adam Schiff. It's not against the forum rules to point out the well-established fact that Trump supporters are deplorable.

 We're talking about when Hillary said it. But it should be Ok for anyone to say it, seeing as the definition of the word fits. Besides that, there's nothing in the wrongplanet forum rules that says posters can't refer to trump supporters as deplorables. That's a lie, sly.

That's beside the point...
And you are dodging the point. Those magats are deplorable -- provoking negative reactions with their racist banter and then getting their panties in a knot because someone tells them to go away.

Cry me a river.

It is up to Alex and his mods to decide what is against the forum rules. Unlike Hillary who said half of Trump supporters are "basket of deplorables" saying ALL Trump supporters are deplorable SHOULD be against forum rules. Either way, it was a politically dumb and costly thing for Hillary to say.

It’s not against the forum rules to have an opinion nor to disagree with others.

IMO, all trump supporters are deplorables.

Maybe 50% is high. I think trumps base is around 29%.

The Democrats are meant to support the working class not spit in their faces. She lost votes by spitting on the working class. No one is more deplorable than that psycho.

She wasn't calling working class people deplorables, though. Rather, she was describing white nationalists and every day bigots as such.

She was calling all Trump supporters "deplorables." Not all Trump supporters are white nationalists and bigots. And like it or not, even white nationalists and bigots are, for the most part, part of the working class. It was just a very stupid, arrogant comment for her to have made.

I believe she said half of them were deplorables.

Not as bad as calling them all deplorables, but still a very politically unwise comment to make.

If you generalize that all Trump supporters are "deplorable", then you're making a personal attack of calling all WP Trump supporters "deplorable".

I have had two of my posts removed, because I carelessly said something like, "Liberals ...." and it was interpreted to mean "all liberals ...".

I suppose it's a matter of how someone takes such a statement. Some take it to mean a personal attack on themselves, even if they weren't meant to be counted as deplorables.

I'm sure if Trump called Sanders's supporters scum and some of us on here were agreeing because we said it's true, there would be no negative reaction

Actually forum rules say you can’t make generalizations about a group.
Others would say generalizations about liberals or democrats fit
That’s just your personal opinion and I don’t agree with it.
If one side can’t say liberals are _____
Then you can’t say trump supporters are _____

Quote:
While it is acceptable to attack and debate beliefs (political, religious etc) it is not acceptable to make generalised attacks on the adherents of those beliefs. It is acceptable to say that Republicanism, Liberalism, Christianity, Islam are stupid but not acceptable to make generalised attacks saying that Republicans, Liberals, Christians or Muslims are morons. You could say that some of these people are stupid because of (reason) but not make generalised attacks on groups of people. Similarly you could not say "Christians are morons" or "Muslims are terrorists" or "People on welfare are bums". Confine your attacks to the beliefs and politics, not the people holding them. The one exception to this is public figures themselves – by the very nature of their roles they are personally open to criticism.
