Yet another celebrity dies. Although at his age this one wasn't unexpected.

I sometimes watch him on weekdays when they play reruns of 'The Streets of San Francisco.'

I liked him in A Streetcar Named Desire," Streets of San Francisco, and that old movie, think it was called "Marty."

I don't really consider a man like Karl Malden a "celebrity." He's first and foremost an artist. They don't make em like that anymore...

But then what do I know? I'm only 21....life may yet throw a couple of interesting view-changing zingers my way.

I think "Patton" is his best movie in which he played General Omar Bradley.

I remember him most from "The Streets of San Francisco" and later the American Express Travelers' Checks
commercials where he says: "You are about to witness a crime..."

RIP Mladen G. Sekulovich, 1912-2009 topic

My favourite movie with Karl Malden is The Birdman of Alcatraz, in which he played a prison warden in one penitentiary where Robert Stroud (played by Burt Lancaster) was imprisoned.
