I just, heard about it and I'm not surprised at all. Doctor Conrad Murray should at least face manslaughter charges. It's all over the news and on tmz. Michael Jackson had a drug addiction and this crooked Doctor opted to feed his drug addiction which led to his death.

How else was I supposed to say it? Some people thought anyway he was murdered. Me, I just thought it was a drug overdose, never thought it was murder. I wasn't surprised anyway when I saw the article. Why was he murdered? I am not sure why. Could it have been an accident or did he not like him and killed him to keep the little boys safe?

That doctor could have done a lot other things besides use incredibly strong drugs. Insomnia, (which I suffer from) should be addressed with more natural solutions. The body will build up resistance to drugs, so light therapy could have been tried, as well as counseling and cognitive behavioral therapy. Drugs are not the answer to everything!

It's also the patient's responsibility to understand what the drugs do, how much can be safely taken and how they interact. It's not like anybody force fed him an overdose. I'm surprised it wasn't ruled suicide instead of homicide.

it would be negligence so it would be a homicide. Just not murder. Like if a pharmacist administered the wrong drug to a customer by accident. You can say that the customer needs to check their prescription before taking the medicine, but they usually trust the pharmacist.

negligent homicide is not the same as murder. It is when you cause the death of someone by your mistake when it is your job to not make that mistake. Dr.'s oath "first do no harm" and giving someone a sedative that powerful for sleeping is definitely negligent.

I disagree because it's the doctor's job to know how much to have you take and what kind to prescribe you and we aren't qualified to know what medicine to take. So we trust the doctor and assume he or she knows what he or she is doing. Sometimes they make mistakes by prescribing someone the wrong medicine and if it effects the person badly, it is their responsibility to quit taking them and go back to the doctor for a new prescription. I was once given the one dosage of my pills when I was 12 so I was having problems peeing and my mom didn't know what was going on so she had to take me to the doctor and test my urine and it turned out it was caused by my medication so the dosage was lowered and I peed fine again. I was also holding water.

Also, so many doctors nowadays, seem more intent upon writing prescriptions for everything, and when you have side effects, they just give you more pills. There was a time when doctors tried natural things first, and only used medications as a last resort. There is much abuse of drugs nowadays, no doubt about it.

For the last time, Michael didn't molest. The first where the media keeps harping on Michael settling out of court was set up by Jordan Chandler's father Evan Chandler who wanted money. There is a recorded conversation leaked with his plot of extortion. Evan even went on later to try to sue MJ in 1996 for 60 million claiming their agreement contract was broken over MJ's song "They don't really care about us" but he didn't win that.

Here is the recorded extortion plot that only a few media sources aired.

The second one was Gavin Arvizo who was a cancer patient and his dying wish was to see Michael Jackson. He was told he had two weeks to live. Michael took him under his wing and let him live at Neverland Ranch. Martin Bashir the backstabbing journalist who edited and made a bad documentary about MJ is what prompted those allegations. Michael was found not guilty. It was later proven the mother who put Gavin up to it was crazy and also had welfare fraud and changed her name to Janet Jackson.

The media purposely wanted to make Michael out to be a bad person for ratings. They never wanted to show you this

Micahel was more powerful than the media showed and his interest in music catalogues worth billions that would go to someone other than his estate was a big interest, merchandise that would sell after his death, money money money.

None of those molestation charges against him were true.

Michael was a child at heart. All these people who painted him as a sexual predator of children are the ones with sick minds.

He helped children and saved their lives but naturally our sensationalist media would not even think to air that to the extent of their tabloid approach. So much for responsible journalism.

Michael had an important message. He didn't want to die.

This is the song he was going to emphasize on his last tour which had a very powerful and truthful message.

No one said anything in this thread about him molesting. What I might never understand is if he is indeed innocent, then why did he have naked boys pictures in his room. They were found in there I've read and I guess it was a coincidence when lot of parents kept suing him or I suppose they all formed a mafia and they all came up with the same story to use to make it look real so people will believe he is a sicko and wa laa it worked but not on the MJ fans.

I didn't start thinking he may be innocent after I found a video on youtube I had never seen and teens were confessing they lied about being molested by him because their parents made them say it. This clip was from the news. But then it just leaves holes such as the pictures found in his bedroom, people suing him claiming he touched their sons. Or could the naked photos been another lie they put in the media and maybe all the parents formed a group and came up with the molestation story to use on MJ to make him look bad. Or he could have hushed all the boys. My husband told me sometimes kids lie about being molested because they are ashamed and they think it's their fault and they don't want anyone to know. I might never know what is correct. He could be innocent and could be not and it could be both. Maybe he didn't touch those boys but he touched a few others, I will never know I bet.

it could go either way. You could speculate all day. But no one except those involved know the truth.

I have no strong feelings about MJ, while it was jolly stupid to dangle a kid off the side of a high building that (and the claims that he was a sexual criminal) have nothing to do with the fact that the US judge has ruled that the death was a case of homicide.

As the judge has ruled that the death was due to homicide it is possible that a criminal or civil case regarding the demise of MJ will now occur.

True, whoever prescribed all this stuff to him is probably at least partly to blame. But who's the boss here? Isn't the patient the customer? Didn't a light bulb go off in either Michael's or the doctor's head, that the level of discretionary elective drug use might be approaching unacceptably hazardous levels? I'd say they're both to blame. Do no harm? It seems that policy had been invalidated for Michael decades ago.
