Prosecutors are going to try and go for capital punishment for at least 4 of these guys. They're accused of murdering a Florida couple that was renowned for adopting and caring for special needs children, including autistic children. Apparently last July they broke in wearing ninja uniforms, gunned down the parents in front of nine of the children, then made off with a safe that contained documents, jewelry, and medication.

As far as the death penalty goes, I'm neutral. However, I believe this is a case where execution is right and just. These guys are monsters, and the fact that they impersonated ninjas during their crimes is a disgrace to shinobi everywhere. If they dont get death, at least they'll get life in prison, which is more than they deserve.

Usually, I'm pretty against the death penalty.. but I remember reading about that case. I say fry 'em.

I guess on an emotional level I'd want to see these guys killed, but the death penalty puts the government on the same moral level as criminals. Plus, if you are the vengeful type they'll probably suffer a whole lot more in prison.

Killing them won't fix anything. However, these people should definitely spend the rest of their lives in jail; they should not be allowed another chance to do something like this again. And who knows, while it may be a long shot, after a few decades in prison to think about things, maybe they might come to some realisation that what they did was wrong and actually feel some remorse.
