Guess Jim Carrey finally saw the light.

The two actors each tweeted Tuesday that they have ended their relationship after five years. Publicists for Carrey and McCarthy confirmed the split.

The 48-year-old Carrey says on the social networking Web site that he wishes her "the very best!"

The 37-year-old McCarthy tweeted that she "will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart."

Both say they were grateful for the time they spent together.

McCarthy also tweeted that she would remain involved in his adult daughter's life.

I have mixed feelings about Carrey, but I liked him pre-McCarthy. So yeah.

Go Jim! He's one of my favorite actors, so I'm really happy that he's not together with Jenny anymore.

So are we just cheering for the divorce because of McCarthy's association with Autism Speaks?

What if Jim Carrey plans to remain involved in the organization despite the divorce?

Personally I dont care...today's celebrities get involve in the most bland and lousy charities as it is.

Its good they split, it might put stop to Jim's ignorant drivel / propaganda about .. what is it? Mercury causes autism? He had to agree with his wife Jenny, now he is away from her .. he wont be brainwashed into agreeing with her. Yea, he might leave Autism Speaks. Who knows, someone said he might be an Aspie? Maybe he will change sides and "come out"! That would be great, but unlikely.

Also, lots of claims on the Net that Jenny's son never had autism in the first place.
