Man Calls 911 to Report Mom Took His Beer

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla., June 1 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said a man charged with making false 911 reports called the emergency number several times to report his mother took away his beer.

A Pasco County Sheriff's Office arrest report said Charles Dennison, 32, of New Port Richey called 911 multiple times Friday and said he wanted his mother arrested for taking his beer, the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times reported Tuesday.

The report said Dennison was "very intoxicated" when a deputy arrived and he said the 911 calls would not stop until his mother was arrested.

Dennison was charged with making false 911 calls and jailed in lieu of $150 bail.
