Catalonia bans bull fighting

Catalonia became the first region in Spain to ban bull fighting. Here's the story:

Yay, they should ban it altogether or refine it to where the bull doesn't end up murdered.

but the "bullfighter" is a human. the topic title states that the ban is on bulls fighting.
we used to have bulls on our farm that fought. the only answer was to castrate all but one otherwise they would fight over their female offspring. they were also guilty of incestuous desires.

i can not imagine a bullfight where the bull just stands there and the bull fighter runs toward it and stabs it.
the bullfighter would be labeled a coward, and those spanish toreadors are not fond of that label.

the bulls should be taught anger management and that flapping rags are not a personal insult.

Like your experience on the farm, maybe the bulls should first be castrated so the bullfighter's presence might be pointless?!

I did not go read the article the OP linked, but I do think it would be great if all humans were banned from bullfighting rings so the grass could grow and the bulls could just keep on living in whatever way/s they normally do.

it is not a significant point you raise. if there is a statement that says "male bonding is illegal" then it does not mean only one male even though the noun is singular. "female acceptance into the fraternity has now been banned" is just as valid as "females acceptances into the fraternity has now been banned"..

i obviously understand that it is a callous and ignorant way to treat innocent animals and my post was designed to seem like a stupid concept stated from an ignorant mind.

you may say "well do not joke about the plight of those poor animals" but i say "i can not do any harm by expressing myself as extremely stupid in blaming the bulls". whatever. i am sorry if i offended you.

i love animals more than you know, but i do not roll pearl before swine, and i act dumb to people who i think will never understand my true self and i do not care that they think i am dumb.

but i must tell you that i think humans are condemnable in their treatment of animals. chicken farming is grotesque etc. it is not possible to convince humans that animals lives are as important as their own, so i opt to smear their conversations with ill considered buffoonery.
