I would be afraid of getting stuck in the middle of the pack and having no bathroom within sight.

I hate the idea of the walks-for-causes in general (unless it's to do with dogs, as they seem to enjoy all the sniffing opportunities). They just seem to be ways for people to feel good about doing something for a cause without actually doing anything. Plus, Autism Speaks is definitely not an organisation I'd want anything to do with.

I agree with the previous users, don't go unless you're holding up a sign declaring that Autism Speaks sucks.

I did a march for dimes once and a m.s walk to support my patient once.
i see nothing wrong with a autism walk. 8) even though I dislike autism speaks.

I do not, and I would not for Autism speaks. I'm thinking of doing one for Lung Cancer.

If one happened near me, I'll drive by playing Linkin Park and Rammstein at full volume. If I lived by a park and Autism Speaks had a march there, I'll play the part from Sacha Baron-Cohen's movie Bruno comparing autism to chlamydia on loop...
