Move to California if you have the resources.

California courts have already overturned legislation making budget cuts that deep.

America in general is behind on adequately helping the disabled. Some places are better than others but for the most part, every state has had to cut back on services.

There was never any need to cut back on such services. The governments chose to do so because of the evil of those making the decisions. Never forget that for a moment.

Why do you rush to the conclusions that they are cutting benefits because they are evil when states have been recklessly overspending for decades and it's now catching up to them?

It doesn't matter when it's someone else's money. Just raise taxes and spend spend SPEND!

If taxes are as high as the voters there will allow, then they (and their state government) are going to have to learn to live within their means. Maybe next fiscal year they can make some changes in priorities to allow there to be a bigger budget for health services, but for now that particular piggy bank is empty.

This is a state that chose to waste huge amounts of money experimenting with privatising welfare. Why? The private good, public bad dogma - had to "prove" it again. The experiment was a disaster. It just shows the dogmatic and cruel thinking of these people.

Actually sounds like some people need to be fired. Not everyone in Indiana is like that, there are quite a few people in Indiana Government that probably were furious when they found out about this.
