Never know the account is in Belgium oversees it would be more possable like in the UK and etc but in the US I highly dout it. In the US if that did happen it would not be good. People would be fighting with the ISPs. The people in Rural areas would be pissed because the limited available Internet connections like were I am which is considered Rural it is eaither Dial-up, Satellite Internet, or 3G.

Wouldn't be possible.
People would just create another internet next to it, using direct connections, over the telephone lines.
Even 56k if we had to.

EDIT:
What I mean is, they would have to change the way telephones works too, if this was going to work.
The "Internet" is just some digital signals, traveling in form of analoug electrical signals, over telephone lines, just as your voice.
So they would actually have to block the possibility for you to make a phonecall to a random person. Not likely, cause this is a big income!

The people in the video are wrong. It is not going to happen. I wouldnt be surprised to see dedicated premium/subscription sections of the internet but the internet as we know it will still remain.
