Abstract

In reading Native American spiritual beliefs the black bird represents creativity but can mean aggressive creativity or perhaps assertive. A spiritual person may interpret so many black birds falling from the sky on or near new years as a sign of the end of or closure of a cycle of aggressive attempts to create change in the new year. I always found symbolic, archetypical and in general these types of spiritual beliefs interesting.

If I was to use this example to make a suggestion to the autism, disability and in general society as whole I'd say it is important to talk about things. Being confrontational in creative ways is not always the solution. Such as people with autism being offended about how autism is viewed. Instead use your creativity, passion and audacity to find friendships in advocacy where before social hostilities existed. In mainstream politics people will always distort, cause conflict and a reduction of social political hostilities is short lived because for most people to agree and get along is not in the best interest of special interest for instance.

All that from the correlation between black birds falling from the sky and a potential interpretation based on Native American spiritual beliefs.

wow its freaky!

It definitely seems like a sign of some sort. I personally think it is a warning to everyone. A wake up call to those who are on the wrong path to change before the shift in 2012. And a reminder to those on the right path to stay on the right path so they will be on the right path when the shift in 2012 occurs.

I personally believe 2012 is not the end of the world, but a point where we choose whether we are on the right path or the wrong one. At 2012 we have chosen what side we are on and will be judged as such in the years after.

Actually it was the Ampibians long before the bees.
Dont forget the bats as well.

Seems all the little animals are having thier imune systems compromised, I wonder what its doing to us?

One of the conspiracy theories about the flocks of birds is testing of some new Tesla weapon, I hope they dont accidentally aim it at an airplane full of innocent people going on thier holidays!

Umm that sounds very unlikely aggressive attempts to change the world show no sign of slowing down anytime soon. How do they know that blackbirds represent aggressive creativity? What if their death really signals an impending invasion of rabid midgets? Recently CNN invited Christian actor Kirk Cameron to talk about the mass die-offs, and he said they should call a veterinarian. He's right too- we really don't know enough about the die-offs to make any sound theories about it yet.

I could post a hippie song but I'd suggest looking up Native American beliefs on black bird yourself. I'm just a white guy with a big imagination at times.

Stranger things have happened - seriously.
In the 19th century, it had been documented that a shower of meat - yes, pieces of meat - had rained down on a house.
Though at the time, the prevalent theory had been that a flock of vultures flying overhead had all vomited simultaneously.
