over an answer they had right all along! . So, why can't Fox just give them the money back instead of letting them back on the show?

Wouldn't it suck if they played the game again and do worse than they did the first time around?

Either way, I think it was the right decision by Fox to allow them to play the game again. Probably would've been better to finish the original game they played starting with the $880,000 they had during that controversial round and moving on to what would've been the next question. That would've been the most accurate approach to giving them a second chance.

if i were them i'd tell clusterfox to stuff it, and fly back home. i'd bet good $$$, that if they tried again they'd only end up with zip.

Their answer is definitely correct. They probably want the $800000 and some more through a law suit.

That's an awful lot of money to lose. They will be thinking about their loss, for a very long time.

or something. i certainly hope the couple doesn't go back to those game show hucksters with their tail between their legs, only to be humiliated one more time before a national audience.

Rupert Murdoch the guy who owns Fox has over 7 billion dollars in his own assets. 700,000 $ is nothing to him, he's just a greedy prick. The couple should contact their attorney and sue them. Also they should schedule interviews and get publicity from it, the more they make Fox looking bad the better the outcome. No way will they win that much money next time. News Corp makes 30 billion

chances are good that they will not only not win any money but will be in the hole when the have to pay for all their expenses associated with participating in this fiasco. the lesson here is to have nothing more to do with fox.

This may seem like that fallacy I am actually trying to avoid, but gambling is definitely a problem in these trying times. :P

The couple got the answer right, so Fox should just give them the money back,
instead of a do-over on the game show.
