House votes to extend patriot act

The abuses of power that the patriot act allows is very real, my mom is targeted because she is a civil rights advocate and has nearly been killed many times by government sponsored stalking. This bill will have a dirrect effect on our lives if signed, plz call your senators as I will too.

If your mother is really being stalked by the Government for being a civil rights activist, I'm sure MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, etc. would love to have a story like that to report on.

The ACLU has been reporting alot of these abuses...we contacted them, they said we have a real case, but basicly they were too busy. The coperate media outlets are not talking too much about this...basicily cause big corperations are part opf the problem not the solution.

I am not too much asking for a debate about my sanity but to contact your senators...according to the ACLU, the patriot act with its fusion centers turns the US into a survielance society....this affects everyone not just those targeted, cause there are no provisions stating that someone cant be targeted without reasonable cause.

I feel for your Mom, man. This is a replay of the same kind of witch hunt you could expect in during the Red Scare.
