Autism Registy of Virgina - Participation Needed
A few months ago I signed up with the Autism Registry of Virginia at the Autism Center of Virgina.

A few days ago I got a letter from them requesting my participation in a survey-only study to discover what proportion of individuals with ASD has a family history of autoimmune disorders.
I decided to get involved in the registry because I feel that my unique case (adult female with Asperger's) can shed some light on what has been the complete lack of adult ASD research and development. I'm also doing this for my eldest nephew, now 10 who was diagnosed at 7 and led me to my diagnosis last year. I feel that anything I can do in this or other areas of ASD will help him emensly and hopefully elliviate if not prevent the hell I went through as a child undiagnosed, my exsistence would be of some use and that my life would not be worhtless.
If anyone in the state of Virginia wants to sign up or at least get information on it, here's the URL.
