I think Israel would be delighted to see Fatah resume effective control over the entire Palestinian Authority.

The steps taken on the West Bank are demonstrating the degree to which Fatah has been able to create a functioning government framework. If the same can be done in Gaza, and if there can be some assurance of keeping Iranian influence out, then we may well see soem real progress.

Israel has no right to exist as a country. They think theyre soooo badass because they can massacre tens of thousands of Arabs with American weaponry. Theyre just bullies is what they are.

The Jews have no rightful claim to the land either.

Whether you believe the Israeli government and military are the big bullies on the block, the fact remains, there are millions of innocent, ordinary people living there who have never hurt anybody, and who know of no other home. It would be wrong to uproot these people and scatter them to the four winds with no where to go. Beside, how are you going to make so many people leave?

The Israelis will fight to the last person to defend their right to live where they are living. And Israel has 400 nuclear weapons so any attempt by their unfriendly neighbors to destroy Israel will lead to nuclear retaliation.

Because the Romans kicked the Jews out in 70AD im pretty sure and then it wasnt until the late 19th century that Jews starting moving back to Israel when the Palestinians had established a homeland.

You cant abandon a place and then claim its your rightful land 2,000 years later. Cmon. lets get real here

The fact remains - the Israeli people are there now. Millions of people have lived and died there since the founding of Israel, and it would be wrong to uproot them now.
And while it's true that many Jews had been uprooted by the Romans 2,000 years ago, it would be a mistake to assume that all Jews living elsewhere got there because of the Diaspora, as there had already been many Jews already living abroad for some time.

Well yeah that is true. The only good thing about Israel's existance is that it helps us fight the Arab extremists, but other than that theyre really just bullies. I think that the Jews feel they deserve Israel as compensation for the holocaust

To be sure, there probably are Jews who believe that. If so, they need to get their heads on straight and acknowledge that not every gentile is an enemy to be pressured and prodded with guilt in order for those Jews to get what they want. Rather, they need to realize we support Israel today simply because they're a fellow westernized democracy.

Israel doesnt seem that democratic to me, forcing people to serve in their armies.
