Thugs launch brutal attack on boy with Asperger's Syndrome

It's just f***ing sick that someone chooses to behave mthat way to an AS child. The only question is, did they know that the child has Aspergers?

Too bad I wasn't present. I have a pet peeve for unruly behavior in children. A good wooping is all that it would take to teach them a lesson.

That's so horrible. I hope they catch the (insert nasty plural word(s)) and they rot in jail for life.
I hope that poor boy will be all right.

Its a shame I dont believe in sending kids to jail for the rest of their life because they probably deserve it rats :(.

They knew he was different. I know from personal experience that with kids, that's enough for a savage beating (I never got anything that severe though).

I gather these thugs had no idea that the kid had AS, but they probably did know that the kid chooses to play by himself. I doubt if anything like this would have happened if anyone was around. This kind of stuff sickens me, especially because these thugs chose it upon themselves to find someone isolated. Why not do something like this in the middle of the playground when lots of people are around? These thugs are just cowards and are afraid to face the consequences of having anyone see their faces and possibly ever turn them in.

I also have to ask where the kids' parents were at the time? I doubt letting a thirteen year old play near railroad tracks away from the sight of anyone else should be considered wise. Someone should have been keeping an eye on him, and from what I hear, this attack lasted for quite a bit of time. Nobody saw anything, yet it was close to home? The kid lives with an invalid, I understand all that, but I don't know if this is wise for such a young kid. Maybe it's all the family can do, but someone should be around to watch this kid. If his parents are letting him go out any time he pleases, what if he wanders off into the woods? A pretty serious situation.

that must be the parents freaking out over their kids seeing such a terrible crime. but if i was the parent, why would i stop my kid from reliving it just to let the wrongdoers escape justice for a crime in which they almost killed someone?

I doubt they knew he had AS, all they knew was that he's a weird lonely fag. If those thugs did know he has AS, he would be considered a weird lonely fag AND a ret*d :roll:.

Why didn't the parents let their children speak? These thugs need to be put to jail. It's not good for those people to be censored like that, especially when it will put another guy at risk. If those parents are afraid of their children becoming the next target, isn't there a way to open your mouth and keep your identity secret?

My mother grew up in a rather rough neighborhood, and I asked her the same question. She said that even if measures are taken against that, everyone sort of already knows anyway. Besides, if they even suspect someone said something, they won't be afraid to hurt them or their family.
I do wish someone had said something though.

I used to get beat up when I was little, but nothing like that. That's horrible. Why do people do things like that? It's disgusting to think that kids who are that young would even think of doing something that horrible.

I geuss i could understand being afraid for your child.. Even afraid if your child would be seen as a rat, but there are ways to keep the childrens IDs secret and its not just that one child was almost killed. if they are not caught who is to stop them from doing this to other children? what if the next one cannot get away?

I do not know the legal code over there but I hope that if caught these boys will be punished severly without makeing the kid a victim a second time. In the USA unfortuatly the crimimals end up protected better that the victims are.
The kid has already had to deal with a beating now he will have to deal with everyone knowing that he is different that he "has a Syndrome".
Kids and adults will treat him differently now. It is sad.

Personally I would like to kick the little punks a****

They should place these cowards in some sort of highly-supervised community service program where they have to deal with kids with a lot of problems. Like, maybe make them do janitorial work for five years with strict supervision. I think having to look at a lot of people with severe deficiencies, including those more debilitating than AS, is probably worse punishment than jail ... at least, for these dudes.
