I remember reading his articles on Alternet. He was a gifted,intelligent, witty man who always told the truth about class warfare in America, something most opinion columnist are incapable of. While I disagreed with his opinions on race, his knowledge of classwarfare was excellent, and he wasn't afraid to attack the Democrats as well as the republicans. His voice was original, he will be missed.
