Here is a nice story on a little boy born without a cerebellum and a pons who is achieving things previously thought impossible for someone like him.

That's so sweet. It's also amazing because I bet everyone just wrote him off as soon as they discovered his problem. Although not the same, Kim Peek (AKA the real 'Rain Man') had significant damage to his cerebellum. It will be interesting to see if Chase also develops any splinter skills as a result.
