I just heard on the local news Wal Greens is supposed to start offering insurance policies sometime in the future from a private company at different rates.

I am pretty sure the policies will be offered to the general public.

Sounds a little too good to be true but if the rates are reasonable, it might be worth checking out.

i can't help but believe that any medical "insurance policy" they offer will not actually cover anything. i had a dental "policy" like that- for $600 per year premiums it only paid $250 of the $1500 cost of a root canal. IOW it was useless.
