My understanding is they are studying it, to help screen individuals for ASD's, through physical characteristics, as well as observable behavior.

People with Down Syndrome/Cerebral Palsy have the Mongoloid look makes them stand out against the average person. Autistics have facial characteristics that make them look different to normal people.

Why is it that every one of the top results for this found in a search, have NO statistical information from the study, or any information about how the data was collected and interpreted?

I wouldn't have any problem taking this kind of thing seriously if I could find, or someone could show me the actual studies, with stats and methods explained in detail.

The only reason I have not taken any of this seriously yet is because every time it's come up so far, all I've seen is conjecture and articles that are nothing more than overviews with NO statistical details, or detailed information about HOW the study was conducted.

Sorry, I just can't take anything seriously until they show me the pudding recipe. (The proof is in the pudding.) I can't bring myself to take the word of an article that says nothing more than, "This is what we found." I just don't trust anyone that much.

It's often hard to find new research articles, many sources show the abstract and want a fee to view the entire study. This scribd.com site is an excellent resource, for future use, if you can't find the free version of a research article.

No I never thought that because autism is not like down syndrome. Are you trying to say that bullies have valid reasons for picking on people and the ones who are being bullied have no rights?
