She is addicted to babies! Can't stop having them

You've heard of having a "bun in the oven"? Well by now, this woman runs a freaking bakery!

Doesn't their town have a low-cost spay/neuter program?

on a more seious note, having babies at that age you will start having kids with chromizone (sp) disorders, like down's syndrome, and there are alot other of those types of disorders that can happen when the eggs genetic structure weaks with age. In fact, at 40,you have a 1-50 chance in having a down syndrome baby, but at 50, you have a 1-10 chance of having a downs syndrome baby. At 45, she is probably around 1-25 chance.
If she keeps this up, she is going to start having alot of special needs kids that will need a lifetime of specialized care.
I dont think one downs kid could be responcible for another downs kid, and her kid pyramid will topple.

There are many other chromizone disorders that women will encounter giving birth to kids after 40, but once she is 50, it will be be a chromizonal landmine.

The best age to have kids is after 18-before 35

I dont buy this have as many as God will give you crap, get fixed or dont have intercourse. Are they catholic by any chance??

Dear Jojobean, Not only the health of the child is affected by a woman giving birth too often. How many women in impoverished countries with no access to birth control will die young due to their bodies being worn out from constant child-bearing? Pregnancy weakens the body, weakens the bones, can cause a temporary form of diabetes, and I believe that presenting this 20- children- family as a goal is basically irresponsible. Sylkat

I totally agree with Ashuahe that Michelle Duggar's addicted to pregnancy. There's even a grand-Duggar, too!

Did you know that the catholic church actually goes to 3rd world countries and convinces them of the "sins" of birth control. The population boom in 3rd word countries is largely due to the church's influence. There are primitive methods of birth control, but they are brainwashed into believing that is evil. To me, this is horribly irresponsible of the church and can even be qualified as a type of genocide because ppl in the 3rd world are dying in troves because of a lack of resources for their population to handle, so convincing them use no birth control so the population spirals out of control way beyond their means to support themselves. This is torture in the worst way.

But as far as Duggart goes, we are living in the 21st ce, we no longer need 20 kid families to support a family farm in order to survive. She never said 20 was her goal though, she said she will take as many as God gives her
I think she is just breeding religious nuts like rabbits and knows nothing of the dangers she is presenting to herself and her children by being a breeder human.

I never liked that family and probably never will!! 20 kids? To me, thats just unreal and bizarre!! I'm surprised she hasn't gone through any serious mental problems like PPD! Above all, I also hate that statement she makes about how she wants to have however many children God blesses her with!! To me, that family is nothing but a bunch of religious freaks! Even Mormons are more sane than they are!

I guess since I never want children, I'm going to be punished by God!!

At least they aren't on welfare or on any other programs so them having another baby isn't a problem. But I think she is way too old to be having more kids. I think the last one was a hint from god that it was time to stop having kids.

Their last child was born months prematurely and had a lot of problems, including lactose intolerance. That should've been their sign to stop. I'd hate to think what health problems kid #20 is gonna have.
