Chavez: Bush should get death penalty

CARACAS, Venezuela, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez slammed the Saddam Hussein death penalty and said it is U.S. President George W. Bush who should be sentenced to death.

"If sentencing is to be done," said Chavez earlier this week, "the first one to be given the most severe sentence this planet has to offer should be the president of the United States, if we're talking about genocidal presidents," the Miami Herald reported Thursday.

The leftist Venezuelan leader has often criticized the Bush administration for its war efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan and for allegedly trying to overthrow his own administration.

Chavez called Bush the devil in September, while addressing the U.N. General Assembly in New York.

Why is Chavez so hard to take seriously?
He does a lot of showboating, but the facts still prove him to be a solid leader. He's worth researching before you laugh at him.

I thought he was just reporting a storey he read?Isn't this current events class....am I in the wrong room again?

Personally I think it is obvious that Bush is a war criminal responsible for the death of many civilians in a country he had no right to invade and complete disreguard in reconstructing....if he isnt the devil he certainly is in his employment.....

...Are you kidding? The facts? Countries around him and across the world quote him "A Baffoon" (they don't like nor take him seriously)
Oh, the guy running a country with about as much human rights as China?
No, must be that other guy who's country is funded by oil and drugs.
Heavy on the drugs and i do not mean selling a few baggies but selling tons to other drug funded militias who've killed more than their fare share of people. When you research him...don't go to the venezuelain newspaper for your facts because their writers termination is more than employment.

Here in Massachusetts we have a fuel assistance program to help poor people pay for their fuel oil. The program is funded by Chavez. He seems to be more interested in helping our poor people than Bush is.

Please enlighten me. Why should Bush hang next to Saddam? I can hardly wait to hear this.

Bush has been in office for 6 years. I don't know what you could research about Buch in your first 10 years which is proberly nothing, just like that space between your ears.
